12 Dec 2005 8:41 amI almost, always, laze through the mornings (am asleep quite often at this time) and afternoons. Longest hours, they are – things I once considered fun to do (indulge in Maple) turned into a fucking bore, things I longed to do (play PS2) turned into..some mindless stuff to tinker with.
There are the different stages in life, where one sometimes stumble upon the Era of Fucking Boredom (aka The Bored Ages). The last time I experienced this was probably my 10 to 14 years old period.
I am experiencing this all over again simply because there is too much time on hand. Sometimes routined crap like waking up early in the morning, go to school, back home, study/revise, play PC, dinner, more PC, sleep seems more fun -- at least I had a certain goal in life: to finish fucking SPM.
Now that’s finished, I have no more further goals except sit and wait for my results, hence my boredom.
And now I’m sitting here to blog.
I was destined yesterday to sit my arse off in front of the PC the entire day when I was asked by Andy if I could drive them to the pasar malam. Was equally lazy to go, but since hanging out somewhere outside would be thrice better than being prisoned in your home, I decided to go.
In the end it turned out that Jess and Andy would be following their parents to the pasar malam, Heng decided not to go, which left only Esther and I in the car. We left at 5.30pm.
Esther brought her pup, Cookie, along in a bag. At first, no trouble stirred; the cute pup merely poked his head outside, oblivious to stares from parents carrying their child around. After finishing our purchase of a pirated DVD (*Perhaps Love*), we went to the various food stalls in search of something suitable to eat for dinner.
We stopped by at the loh bak kou stall to buy. Either because the dog smelled the food or needed air, it started to wriggle around, squirm, and started squawking like a chicken fearing its death in a pot. Esther was frustrated, as was I, and being in the middle of an extremely crowded market, with people staring, and me holding a trillion things on both hands -- aha, a market trip disaster.
Poor Cookie was probably dehydrating or needed a whisp of fresh air.
Then a series of unfortunate events happened.
It was beginning to rain and all stalls began to close up. No raindrops yet, but we were in such a haste to get to the car (what with a squirming puppy in a pink bag, that might as well have been some elaborate drug-smuggling scheme from Esther) that Esther tripped over some jagged rocks and almost fell.
Went back to the car and sighed. Esther let the pup out to roam inside my car at the passenger seat. Cookie crawled beneath my brakes and rested. I began dialling for Jess, to ask her if she wanted to tumpang my car back to my house to watch the DVD we bought.
The phone continued dialling, and with the phone still at my ears, Esther shrieked when the pup severely wriggled, squawked, whimpered, which was when we realised the damn pup was stuck beneath my brakes.
“Hello?” went Jessica on the phone as Esther continued screaming and panicking. “EH WAIT JESS SOMETHING HAPPENED I’LL CALL YOU BACK” and I ended the call, opened the passenger’s door when Esther remained motionless in her panic, “PULL HIM OUTTTTTTT” I yelled and somehow or another, he managed to free himself. -____-
Esther was saying she was afraid his neck would snap, disconnecting the head from the body in a complete bloody mess where my car would be haunted for the rest it lives.
Went back home and set the dog free to roam at my compound. Shortly after we sat down to eat in the kitchen, a resounding thunder tripped my electricity, causing a blackout, causing Esther to yell that she was afraid of the dark; and at the same time I restored power to the house, she tripped at the kitchen floor. >.>
Andy came, and the three of us watched Perhaps Love in my room. It was a confusing, artistic musical, and since it was in Chinese, both Esther and I could not understand it and found it a bore. That, plus the movie was recorded straight from the cinema. -__-
The other two then stopped the movie halfway through and cooked Maggi Mee. Heng phoned at the right time to pick him and his friend from Starbucks when we contemplated whether to change the DVD or not.
After dropping Heng’s girl-friend off at USJ 6, we went to the pasar malam again only to find it closing. This was at 10pm.
Went back to my house again and we played Soul Calibur III till 11.40pm-ish. Dropped off Esther and Andy at their houses, then Heng (who was supposed to sleep over at my house because my entire family went out to PD save for my bro) and I went to Ramli at USJ 9 to get some burgers to munch on.
And… we played Fatal Frame III till 2am. wtf. Not for the faint-hearted, what with the extreme ghastly elements in it would scare little kids shitless. Could also double up as a fun group game to play, especially at the Langkawi trip.
Played many various games after ending yet another terrible nightmare in main character’s dreams, which include Winning Eleven 8, Ultimate Spiderman, Shadow of the Colossus, Fahrenheit, etc – all up to 6.20am.
Haven’t done this for some time; fun, fun, fun. Slept almost instantly the moment the lights went off.
Then woke up at 12pm from my handphone’s alarm the next day. Ate lunch, Heng played more football-related games before leaving at 2.
The day seems long.

The quality of your entries seems to be deteriorating.
There’s just as much ‘fuck’ as actual storytelling. =]

Long arms..kirie? Never heard of it :P
Fatal Frame is a game you should play with a group of friends..really fun to see their reaction on the things that appear in the game.

Ohh yeah. All I remember from FFII are the twins.
I wonder how the developers could..really go about producing it by not getting nightmares in turn. >.>
