14 Dec 2004 11:43 amHaven’t been blogging for a few days, mostly because I was overtly excited with my newly bought Maxtor 80gb ATA 72000rpm 2mb hard drive (whatever those numbers may mean, because I’m not exactly a hardware guy). So whee! Changed my MSN nick to: “80gb to store all mah p0rn ^^” and I’ve gotten some raises of eyebrows. >_>
The one that takes the cake has to be Ken, my ex-RO guildmate online friend who actually BELIEVED what my nick proclaimed. The convo goes something like this:
Him: Wahh..so how much did you use so far? (I misunderstood him)
Me: Ohh..only 6gb so far.
Him: ...
Him: Wow, you’re pretty honest.
Me: o_O?
Him: That’s a lot of porn..
Me: ..nolah..I just copied over files from my old HD to my new HD.
Jerm tutored Jon and I Add Maths yesterday XD From 3pm to 5:45 pm, he taught differentiation (pembezaan) and progression (janjang), which is next year’s first topic for Add Maths. After my fairly easy lesson of “Price Index” (penggunaan nombor indeks), took my dinner and bathed, then went to Jon’s house to stay overnight. :)
We worked on the site (while watching a little bit of Casper the Friendly Ghost on the telly at that time) till about 1am, then resumed Mapling. XD We retired to his room at 2:30am, and I slept after reading a few chapters from a novel I bought: Digital Fortress by Dan Brown.
At 9am I was waken up by Jon, and we went at about 10am with Dek’s father, Jon’s father and grandfather to Shah Alam, to register Jon’s dad’s company. :) “Remtac Enterprise” – that’s the name now (it was originally Remtec Enterprise but that name’s taken =/)
Not bad, for that experience. Registering a company/business takes about an hour only, and there weren’t any queues at all. Jon and I are actually comtemplating to start our own company/business..probably along the lines of web designing. :P
Not too sure yet. Too many “I’m not so sure”s at the moment. If it actually takes off, it’s gonna be fun :P
After taking our lunch at Park May at SS15, we were dropped off at Summit shortly later to catch a movie with Heng Li and Jessica.
Ocean’s 12 starts off like a B-graded movie, but the jokes and subtle humour is ridiculously funny XD Really, really funny; a good watch if you’ve nothing better to do.
Then Heng Li, Jon and I walked to the pasar malam (night market) nearby - and it was only about 5pm at that time.
I haven’t been to a pasar malam for some time – in fact, only once this entire year – so it was kinda refreshing to walk there again. Heng Li was looking for some VCDs to buy to watch at home, and at the second VCD stall that we stopped by, this potential “lalachai” who resembled a drug dealer talked to me in Cantonese: “We have some “sam kap pin” (porn.) if you’re interested” while pointing to a mysterious brown box amidst the piles of VCD.
And all the while he was looking at me and was talking to me.
>_>
The pasar malam is strangely peaceful, even shouts of promotion of Australian apples, fish, prawns, vegetables in mostly the Chinese language didn’t disturb that peaceful connotation that the pasar malam beheld at that time. Jon felt it too. XD
Jon bought some biscuits and “siu mai” for his mother, while Heng Li bought some “siu mai”, a drink and the Alexander VCD from the first stall. I got meself a lime drink as well.
Haven’t been out for a while - I missed this. And I’m a feeling some sort of compelling euphoria today. :)
