I was sooo very tired when I woke up yesterday at about 9.40am when Andy rang me to wake me up. The night before after a short mamak session at Tanjung with Ding, Kai Tzin, Andy, and Sarah, Ding and I went to Jon’s house to play DS/DotA until.. 4am plus wtf. I told them enough is enough at 3am but they wanted to play another round of DotA.. so.. >_>
We went in two cars to Pyramid – mine and Ding’s – and while I was on the way there, Esther SMSed me saying that she has already been discharged and we don’t need to visit her should we have such an intention.. which we actually did intend to go on that day itself. Ding had reached Pyramid earlier than me, so we met them at RedBox where we had our karaoke session.

Kai Tzin, Sarah, Hwee Yeen, Ding.

Sarah, Ding, Hwee Yeen.

Hwee Yeen and me.

Andy the mic-hogger wtf.

Dengan penuh emosi menyanyi sambil berdiri.
As we had a few of us who couldn’t read Chinese characters very well, we sang a mixture of Chinese, English, and Malay songs.. some of the English ones include songs from Spice Girls and Westlife and Backstreet Boys wtf. Damn classic.

Group picture Photoshopped as it was too dark.
So instead of us visiting Esther at Hospital Assunta.. she visited us instead lol. On the way to follow Ding and Hwee Yeen to pick up Wai Yan from Subang Parade, we spotted a hobbling Esther and Adrian who apparently took nearly 30 minutes to walk from the car park from where she was then.
I took a short quick nap in the car to re-energise myself.
Then we went to Mr. Teppanyaki so that Esther and Adrian could eat their lunch – can’t say I fancy the place.

The girls who were there. It was hilarious listening to Esther and Wai Yan talking to each other – Wai Yan in Cantonese and Esther in smatterings of error-laden tones of Cantonese and English.

Sarah and Esther.
(So the deal with Esther’s admission to the hospital was because the veins in her legs were infected and she was in such a pain that she couldn’t walk nor stand – supposedly caused by airborne virii/germs. And just as her leg recovered, she had to stay back for another night because there’s a cyst in her throat which turns out to be harmless anyway. But she has to go for a check-up every 3 months to ensure the cyst doesn’t grow larger than its current 2mm.)
We then went to watch 10000BC which I had initially anticipated to be a good watch but it turns out to be just OK. Very few action scenes, a little clichéd storyline (a variant of “boy saves girl” that takes place a few millennia ago).. it could’ve been so much better. But I enjoyed the scene at the end when all the slaves of the Egyptians started to combine forces to topple down their masters. In the end it’s just another over-hyped movie.
It was also my mum’s birthday yesterday so I left on my own to go back to my house and then went out again to Subang Parade’s Manhattan Fish Market. Their Seafood Platter for two was awesome, so are the other dishes like Baked Pacific Dory etc.

This is a picture of me and my brother in a (fake) Liverpool jersey snapped before we left for Subang Parade. He is now officially a Liverpool fan wtf no joke ok even the football says Liverpool! He now loves watching football – funny because even I don’t fancy watching it that much – and he likes to watch it with my other younger brother who happens to be a Liverpool supporter.
I don’t know if he even understands what the heck is going on when watching these football matches.. but he does scream “GOALLLL!!” at the appropriate moments and then jumps around very excitedly so I suppose yes, he does understand the game a little bit. At least where goal-scoring is concerned.
