11 Oct 2004 2:38 pmWowzah. Went to Pyramid with Heng Li and Andy to have a haircut (ya know..try something new instead of going to the salon I frequent to). The shop’s name’s “A Cut Above”, and my first impression of it is that it’s a professional hair-styling shop >.>
But we’re not really aiming for that as it’s rather expensive, so we went for the A Cut Above Academy instead. XD Basically we were given students of “Level 2”, and well..the guy who did my hair was rather gruff-looking.
I was most surprised when he asked me to follow him to another section of the place to wash my hair. A first experience for me - this washing hair thing - using various shampoo and assorted stuffs; and the wash lasted about 10 minutes >.> Kinda fun XD
Next comes the haircut. As he’s still a student..well, he asked his educator several times about my hair. He worked on my hair by bending his body at various angles (as Heng Li said; he sat to the left and opposite of me). His educator, a female, at one point said that my hair was slightly out of shape when he did thinning. >.>
And all this cut & wash took an hour >_>" Probably the longest time I’ve ever undergone. I slept for about several minutes accidentally ‘cause the process took so long. Plus, that guy was like tearing at my hair and it hurts quite a bit. >.> And about 15 minutes before he finished cutting, the nearby speakers were blasting songs from Utada’s new Exodus ‘04 album :D Managed to listen to Exodus ‘04, some song I didn’t listen before, and Easy Breezy.
My hair looks pretty fine, and at RM13 it was worth it I guess. Something new =) He even applied wax on my hair, which was extremely dry and sticky >.< I looked a bit n00bish after the haircut. XD Andy seems to know a lot about hairstyling, so he did know what waxing is all about and explained to us a bit about that >.>
We watched Dodgeball at TGV after that. It was stupidly funny XD, and kept us laughing all the bloody time. XD
