Sorry another quick and short pictorial post – college makes me really really busy as of late.
Last Wednesday I went to watch Hellboy 2: The Golden Army with Yen and Andy – it was a 7.30pm show, but I had to go early alone to buy the tix first as Andy had to help his mum clean the san toi and thus had to ask Yen to pick him up later on instead.
It was an entertaining show if you’ve had no expectations – I’ve already forgotten the events of the first movie, but it’s been produced in such a way that even if you hadn’t watched the first, you’d still enjoy it as a standalone on its own right.
Then after the show.. dropped by Andy’s house to lepak for a while to talk. Have been doing that a lot in recent weeks.

On last Friday morning, Geok Leng picked me up in her car, with Andy and Sarah already inside, and we left for Pyramid’s Zanmei Sushi – Ding came by himself and met us there shortly after we arrived. There were also two baby cockroaches running across our table WTF and we requested to switch tables. Our u8 junior, Ting, who was interning there, told us they recently had pest control and all manners of bugs were coming out of hiding.

Geok Leng and Sarah, snapped at 1/25, f/2.8. BORING TECHNICAL DETAILS: And I was snapping at that speed with my hands alone (without the use of tripod), so I’m pretty amazed how sharp the pic turned out to be – which meant that my hands are pretty non-shaky :D (assisted with IS, of course).

Andy and me. Poor bounce flash hence ugly lighting.
Great food there as usual, too bad about the slightly small portions – or maybe it was my ravenous appetite.
We also then went to watch The Dark Knight, but not without queuing up for nearly an hour and paid RM11 for one ticket.. damn mahal ok. Belan Andy RM4 too wtf ‘cause he had already watched the premiere with his sister.
Like I’ve mentioned in the previous post, the movie was spectacular but I was really mentally exhausted to enjoy it that much, up to the point I was yawning through the action scenes. :( And after a particular boat scene, which was really the climax, suddenly the screen went black and the lights came back on WTF. Damn potong stim I tell you, the audience obviously started booing and united chants of “REFUND!” went around. And later on when the movie flickered back on we’ve already missed that particular scene and then the rest began shouting “REWIND!”, to no avail.
Anyway, we then went to SS2 Murni for our dinner in Ding’s car (after returning Geok Leng’s car at her apartment), and after that, wanted to return to Subang but Andy (who was driving Ding’s car) swerved towards the direction of KL and there we were.

Sarah and Ding, with a driving Andy.

Driving Andy. And look at the jam.
No one else could give a proper suggestion of where to go, so they followed mine of going to KLCC to snap some pics wtf.

Twin Towers snapped from a moving car.

A little poorly post-processed picture of GL and Sarah.

GL, Ding, Andy, Sarah. Snapped on 1/15 – and it’s pretty sharp! :D

Spaced out shot, or however you call it.

Finally I’m in at least one picture wtf.

Lonely Ding.

Romantic couple.

Lost Andy.

Twin Towers – worm’s eye point of view (almost).

Ding testing a natural smile wtf, Sarah looking at previous photos, Geok Leng smiling towards the camera.

Lost Andy in the City.

Andy and me lepaking around.
Satisfied with our mini-outing, we went back to the car, and I immediately fell into a deep slumber. Apparently we spent an hour sesat-ing around in KL by returning to the same place again – was woken up by the rest when we were in front of Pavillion again, but I paid no attention and slept back wtf.
Reached home at 1am.

I made a Huge Mistake last week.
It’s the single greatest mistake of my life that involves certain death in the future – but let’s just hope it wouldn’t come to that. It’s a slice of irony served to me that, despite being completely well-equipped with the wealth of information in my head, I still failed to respond appropriately. I’m not trying to lay the blame on anything else, but now that I think about it, it could be the bloody Red Bull that’s messing up my sense of judgement.
Though funnily enough, I’m not entirely worried about it – I don’t know why this apathy is seizing me, as if I don’t value my life. But I do. It’s just that there are many times I happen to look at things incredibly objectively – like I’m observing my own life through a third person point of view, and thus all concern for my own wellbeing gets thrown away. Imagine, if you will, an experiment of gargantuan proportions involving my life and I’m the researcher, the lab assistant, the subject.
And again it’s funny that we, being only human, have to make mistakes to learn from them. Like how after telling a young child not to touch hot water because it burns, the kid might touch it anyway.
But sometimes, there are mistakes that you can only make once because they’re fatal. And I was stupid enough to make it.
I wish I didn’t have to be all so vague sometimes – I’d love to share what I meant to a select group of people, and all you have to do is ask. And I just might share.

Had a ridiculously funny, very intimate talk with Kai Tzin, Esther, and Ding on MSN just 2 hours ago. Wouldn’t imagine talking the things that we did few years back. :) Outrageous.

After chatting a bit with Alvin on MSN, we might be taking up dance classes together and I’m quite excited about it. :D Been wanting to take music or dance lessons for ages, but just didn’t have the time nor the semangat to continue my other artistic endeavours. And since this time got teman, haih why not la right just try and make up some time to learn something new.
We’re considering contemporary or Latin now. Any suggestions?
