A trip down memory lane.

Went out with Daniel and WH to Summit yesterday night, in search of a gift to buy for my mum on the pretext of Mother’s Day (realised I got the date wrong after that, haha), which I didn’t get to buy due to the lack of nice selections there. Went back to Ding’s house to try to figure out what’s wrong with his computer, whose problem turned out to be far more complicated than I thought.

It was raining at that time, and we went to the “shop behind Khalifah” and it turned out not to be a small mamak session but a huge gathering of sorts (Andy, Kai Tzin, RB, Heng, Shawn, Jess, Esther, Sarah, and the ones from my car). Both Esther and Ryui Bynn treated us to the food/drinks (coconut was heavenlyyy); apparently Esther earned enough to spend us like this generously.

I dislike how in a large group like this, we don’t have the chance nor the avenue to communicate with the rest due to how the tables and seats are positioned, and in the end, we were as good as three different groups sitting next to one another.

Went to the USJ 14 cybercafe to play for an hour where some went back home, some joined us (Shawn, Heng, Ding, Jon, Wai Hong); D joined us for CS as well, although we had to stick to CS 1.5 due to various problems offsetted by their stupid computers (had to run up and down several times to switch PCs), before Jon finally discovered that Condition Zero works on our PCs after all. -____-

Reached home at 1.30am.

I’ve also finished a spring-cleaning earlier, of the previous blogs I owned (it’s hard work and took me about three days), and transferred their contents here. Entries from blogspot will still retain their comments (which, when you read back, brings back wave after wave of nostalgia), while entries from modblog will sadly not have their comments, as they weren’t archived when I removed my modblog entries in a fit of privacy-breached rage.

I’ve been glancing through my old entries - a trip down memory lane as it were - and I can’t help but feel ashamed by the myriad of childishness I must’ve displayed (my rabid abuse of emoticons). To summarise myself is as difficult as summarising a complete bible, thus I’d leave it up to you readers.

Past entries I thought was amusing/poignant:

- Ryui Bynn muttering the ever eternal line, as I’ve heard again recently this year. Sometimes we overlook people’s good points for their bad; and sometimes we missed everything altogether.

- Meeting an online friend/ex-ROer at a Christian event (even though neither of us are exactly followers of Christianity) and her funny line I remembered till now.

- My first scout recruitment camp, which eventually led to me hating Ivan Hoh, heh.

- Incredibly hilarious pictures, and purchasing Jay Chou’s Qi Li Xiang album

- Certain eXodus’ers falling in the huge monsoon drain.

- ‘Encountering’ a ghost in my house.

- How I especially wanted to be an adult.

- The passing of our senior, Dominic.

- A hilarious account on how our class (5A) became the most hated class in school.

- An even more hilarious chat transcript related to the most hated class in school incident.

- An amusing account of SMK USJ 4’s IU Day.

- Tremendously disappointed with the failed plans of travelling to Australia.

- How I started to love dogs and not fear them anymore, and how the one dog I cared for occasionally for several days died.

- My first F1 working experience that had be spouting foul words more often.

Funny how I wanted to be a legal adult so bad, and when I’m finally am, I’m as lost as I started off from before.

2 Thoughts to A trip down memory lane.
