The days passed by so quickly that before I knew it, I’ve already went out nearly every single day. And by the time I managed to free up some time to start this entry, I now realised that I’m already on my second week of holidays – how the frigging time flies.
So I’ll recap my very eventful series of events that occur since Thursday night.
After my Chinese class on Thursday night, I received an SMS from Ding asking to pick him and Andy up, and when I did round the two of them up, they told me that Suet cancelled the cupcake-decorating session.. but we went anyway for moral support wtf.
When we went there the cupcakes were all already done, and after lepaking there for a while we decided there and then to fast-forward Sarah’s surprise to that night itself (rather than on Friday night). After making several phone calls, eventually the ones who could come (other than the four of us who were already at Suet’s) were Jess, Jon, and Heng. I asked Jon to pick Heng up.
And then we arrived at Sarah’s house at nearly 12am before her birthday was officially over.

The cupcakes that Suet Teng baked and Suet Li decorated.. all slightly burned by the candles as Sarah took forever to open the gates (she was asleep) and eventually nearly every candle was severely burnt out LOL.

Lepak again inside Sarah’s house.. and we ate the cupcakes up.

Poser Suet and gang.
Then we went to Melur USJ 17 for a short mamak session till around 1am, filling it with rubbish talk and some slight backstabbing session of a certain rich friend wtf.

Suet’s lighter + Jon’s hand + Ding. I personally think this shot is bad-ass.
Then as Friday was my youngest brother’s birthday, my family went out in celebration at Subang Parade’s Sakae Sushi even though my bro don’t really eat any of that stuff.. save for those non-solid foods like chawanmushi.
Then around 10pm I picked Ding and Andy up initially on the pretext of doing our Japanese homework (Andy was there to lepak la haha). After done with our Japanese homework by midnight.. Shawn cooked some stolen foie gras for us (“It has 95% fats” WTF, said our resident chef), and then we savour bits of the RM150+.. thing, and down them with alcohol. I honestly didn’t like it that much, it tasted like oil and some slightly flimsy meat – give me the RM4 maggi goreng anytime wtf.

Plate on the left contained pieces of toasted bread, plate in the middle contained the aforementioned foie gras, a nearly empty bottle of Absolut Mandrin, a full bottle of Absolut Peach (both mine), Sunquick Blackcurrant, a jug of water, and not seen in the pic is Andy’s small bottle of Absolut Vodka.
And the rest, they say, is history.
We were doing fine with the Absolut Mandrin + Blackcurrant combination until the Mandrin ran out, and when we tried Peach with the Blackcurrant it tasted absolutly (lame pun intended) nasty that we had to stop drinking that. Then Shawn brought out his bottles of whisky and Ricard and a few cans of Carlsberg.. and halfway through they were downing it submarine-style save for me ‘cause I took ages to finish my Absolut cocktail wtf.
Our talks began escalating to a whole deeper level (into the best drinking session I had so far) and despite being somewhat conscious throughout our incessant, gigglish ramblings, I let loose a few things I shouldn’t have said when I was sober – and so, I suppose, did the rest. As usual, those protective, guarded walls around one’s mind eroded and we tried to dig one another’s secrets LOL.
By the time we were conscious of the fact that all of us were in no position to drive (if there was such a thing as a drunkard being aware that he’s drunk wtf), we decided to stay overnight at Shawn’s.. and we started drinking toasts to our friendship, started talking in American and British accents WTF like it was the most natural thing to do in the world, and well, to be honest, a host of other things I can’t recall very well. I remembered Shawn trying to quiet us down as we were getting a little.. rowdy, as he was afraid his neighbours would wake up.
It was so funny, the whole thing. And for some sick, twisted reason, the alcohol-induced high made us extraordinarily happier than usual, and I daresay the talks we had were twice more ‘fun’ than when we were sober.
We thought it was going to rain as we felt drops of water landing on us (in very loud shouts from those who argued that it was going to rain, and those who disbelieved it) so we eventually went back inside the house and continued talking.. until we couldn’t stand it (no it didn’t rain after all). Shawn knocked off first on the sofa, followed by me, then probably Ding on the beanie bag thingy, and Andy sitting upright on the rocking chair wtf.
That was probably around 5am I reckon.
And yes I puked twice – once outside Shawn’s neighbour’s longkang wtf, and inside the toilet of Pam’s room. Each puke cleared a large heavy fog in my head, although it didn’t make me feel less uncomfortable with the successive puking feeling in my system.
Woke up around 8am when my dad phoned, and then Rex was barking non-stop and I couldn’t get back to sleep. Felt incredibly shitty – so in a huge devoted effort I lugged myself to drive home and proceeded to laosai thrice in one hour wtf, probably purging all the toxics or something.
And the funny thing was, the three of us had a replacement Japanese class at 10am hahaha and we were hardly in the pristine state of mind to study anything, what more a foreign language (Lee-san asked why Ding’s eyes were red lmao and we told her the truth). We dragged ourselves to go after fetching Andy back (had to ask Ding to drive my car as I didn’t feel all too well) and throughout the entire 2 hours both Shawn and I felt like puking.
We then went eating at the restaurant behind my house after buying yau char kuai from Taipan – Shawn, Andy, and I had porridge, something clean after all the sinful drinks we had wtf.
So exhausted was I, that when I finally reached home at about 1.30pm, I went straight to bed and slept till 6.30pm wtf. Which means that I missed out on that Canon roadshow in KLCC that I wanted to attend – but then again I was hardly in a position to drive.
At about 8pm I left with Jon to eat our dinner at McD’s, then lepaked at his house till around 2am with Ding coming over as we played Jon’s MapleStory private server hahahaha.
As Ding fetched me back and we were near the corner of my house, he told me that if I had any plans to backpack he’d like to join. Suffice to say I was super-hyped up because like I mentioned before time and time again, mention anything related to travelling to me, and you’ll likely to see an excited reaction from me. :) Or rather, stim over travelling ahahahaha.
But then I can’t be sure if anything concrete will come out of this. I’ve had China in mind. :):)
As usual, had our Japanese class today – ate lunch at the Yong Tao Foo restaurant near Maju Maju, then headed over to SS15 for a bit as Ding wanted to order some photostated textbooks and when we were driving to J&J, an unnaturally large bird shit splattered over Ding’s top-right windscreen LOL.
Talk about being lucky.
And that’s the end of my crazy weekend till the next one arrives.
