Aeris Gainsborough

While I was surfing around and working on updating on our site, I noticed my online friend had this nick: Anty -[ FF7 - Mako Reactor ]-

Reminds me of the best RPG game of all time, Final Fantasy VII, so I played the only FFVII song in my PC – Aeris Theme.

It’s the best Final Fantasy song. This instrumental wonder brings back loads of memories from the game..and heh, it’s kinda a sad one. The flower girl in the end got killed by the coolest villain in the game..Sephiroth (not a major spoiler if you ask me..since it’s pretty much well-known, unless you don’t play games >_>). Aeris rocks, and I love love her to bits.

I like instrumental songs, apart from the usual dose of pop, rock and whatnot. The brilliant orchestra can stir the memories and tear the emotions apart. And it’s like the songs are telling a story, you know? And they remind you with the twist of their melodies..it’s powerful.

I suppose the only way to know what I’m talking about..is to actually play the game, and years later, listen again to the beautiful piece. Or make an interpretation yourself of what you’re listening to.

Currently playing: Taegukgi Soundtrack - Epilogue

Another beautiful piece.
