I can’t begin to describe how frigging tired I am at the point of writing, but I feel compelled to describe today’s events before I hit my bed.
After learning Andy was hospitalised at SJMC (as told from Shawn; and Andy did look pale and weak like heck when we went to his house yesterday morning to pick up the minutes, which in the end served no purpose), we made some quick plans to visit him which ended up at 5:45pm.
Initially we’re supposed to go by bus (me, Heng, Esther, Kai Tzin) but Shawn decided on the very last minute to visit Andy as well, so his dad picked us up at the bus stop near Andy’s house.
Andy looked weak, a little thinner, but he could still crack his usual jokes and laugh along with us in a very weak manner. I stared at the invasive tube inserted at his wrist, and shuddered as it reminded the time I was in hospital, and my phobia of injections and whatnot sprang on top of me. It wasn’t at all pleasant.
His dad left the 5 of us alone with Andy, so we chatted with him for about 30 minutes before we left again. Oh, and we got him a get-well-soon card bought at a shop at ground floor, and the five of us signed it.
So after waiting for some time, the non-air-conditioned Mini Bus, in its startlingly yellow glory, dragged itself down the roads and we reached Subang at 7:40pm. And our Physics tuition starts at 8.
Heng Li and I stopped at USJ6, and walked all the way to our tuition centre. At USJ6, he stopped by at a Ramlee store for some burgers while I took out my home-cooked food (..no comment - prawns, vege, egg) and ate ‘em while we walk. USJ5 was a little menacing with its beautifully large houses, and it was rather dark. At one point, I thought the land ahead of us was a Muslim cemetery, but it turned out to be some rather empty land instead.
By then, we were sweating like buffoloes on a paddy field and we made our way across with the pedestrian bridge to Petronas to the loo and get some cold drinks. By the time we reached Mr Yeoh’s at 8:20pm, I’m a very tired bastard. Which all of these troubles would have been eliminated, had I my driving license (it was delayed by JPJ’s very stupid system) and a car. Any car.
In fact, I was sooo completely exhausted that at one point, while staring at the electric-related topics on Volts and whatnot on the projector, I sank into the chair and slept for several seconds.
Man, that 10-second sleep was good and I dreamt myself in a grand, yellowish hotel. Until somehow I woke up again.
I’m gonna sit for my driving test tomorrow. Tomorrow’s blog post will be either “OMG I FUCKING PASSED!!! OMGOMGOMG” or ”...kill me. please. and throw my bones to the dogs.”
