Angel resurfaced

I was strangely confident in my History paper today, due to the fact ALL of the questions came from the very book I read at the last minute yesterday. There’s only one problem: the answers wouldn’t conjure themselves in my head. >_>

English I after recess, letter-writing sucked (as well as the topic: DIET?) so I breezed through it quickly (and will probably get low marks for that). When it came to continuous writing I pretty much felt blank, since there aren’t really any interesting topics. The only question that enabled me to write anything I want was question e, which was: Write your story with the ending, “One day I may forgive her for what she did but I can never forget.”

I know I had to think of some rough plot, and I need a character. But nothing came to my mind. My mind travelled to my blog till I hit on the poem I wrote a couple of days back, Angels of Paranoia. Found my main character :)

Plot was a bit blurry so I started with the first line. As I wrote, ideas start pouring in so that old advice of “plan before you write” really wouldn’t work for me. Had fun writing it actually, and it has dark humour (you probably won’t laugh out loud over it though). I rarely write anything that’s witty, so I guess dark stuffs are my best. :p

Setting:
Somewhere above in the clouds. And somewhere on the city below at night. On top of a mental asylum.

Characters:
Angel of Paranoia, Angel of Mischief, Angel of Death, madman, madman’s wife.

Rough plot:
Angel of Paranoia got pushed down to Earth and turned human, where she met a madman.

You probably wonder how I’d end it (so did I), given the fixed ending you have to use. For the first time, I had 20 minutes to think how to end it so I used it wisely. Might be a tad bit lame though.

All I hope is Mr Aziz will find it good, or even funny or unique, considering how he said my two previous essays were boring. >_> “Interest not sustained.” But then again, the guy reads romantic novels. <___>
