“Are you interested in me?”

Travelled by bus alone when Kai Tzin woke up late, and both him and Daniel sat KT’s cousin’s car to work and promptly arrived 10 minutes earlier than me. >_> Which goes to show how slow public transportation could be.

Same ol’ rigamarole of making phone calls as usual, and surprisingly, we had severely low amount of people who could confirm with us (we dialled based on their submitted resum?s, and most of them had either sat for the test, already found the job, someone called them earlier, or simply won’t pick up their phone at all. Why they bothered getting a cellphone and not utilising it is beyond me).

Because our supervisor knew we couldn’t achieve the target of 1.2k, she rang up Ling of KellyServices who in turn phoned me and asked if I have any 4 other friends who can come to work at very short notice. She said I can use the office phone to call ‘em which I happily obliged.

Only Eugene, Hamizah and Sofia could come in the end. And they had to work in a separate room called Kasturi.

Several things occured today that made us laugh so much it distracted us from working. Our two other colleagues, Brendan and Serene had to work in a separate room than us as the new Anggerik room we’re in was smaller than the previous room we worked at, leaving me, Daniel, Kai Tzin, Uma (not Thurman) and Rubini. Uma is a large but rather funny girl who’s very proficient in English, while Rubini is easily affected by people’s laughs. While talking on the phone, she had to put the person on hold several times ‘cause she couldn’t help laughing out loud when we laughed.

Right, so the several things that made all of us laugh so very heartily came from Daniel. The first one that set off a ring of laughters was when he said aloud, “Are you interested in me?” to the girl at the other end of the telephone instead of “Are you interested in it?”.

The second one was when both Ding and I were in the loo; both of us were in our respective cubicles when I supposed someone came in and farted very loudly. Ding thought it was me and was blissfully unaware that a guy came in and did the loud expulsion, and yelled out very loudly for the toilet’s occupants to hear, “MAHAI YOU FART AR!!”

God knows what went through the guy-who-farted’s mind.

So you see, whenever Uma or Rubini or Kai Tzin kept giggling, snorting and laughing when they thought of Ding’s words, we couldn’t stop laughing at all. A lapse of judgement or not, it has been our source of entertainment for the day haha..

Went back by my dad’s car at 6pm.. and I have a sore throat and slight flu now I think I got from Kai Tzin. >_<
