Being computer-literate..

In all honesty, I don’t really feel myself as a “computer expert” as some had dubbed me, but I’m simply a person who has gone through lots of experience where computers are concerned (Jon did mention “computer experience” a number of times too; which in return reminds me of the original concept and name of this blog - saigo: my experience points).

I am thoroughly irked and annoyed when the following situations arise (a few of these situations are not mine, but my other friends’):

1) “WHOMAG MY PC HAS SHUT DOWN BY ITSELF HELP HELP HELP!!!11shifty-eleventy!!!”
Honest response: ...what’s the fuking error message?
Polite response: Can you please detail what actually happened that leads to that automated shut down?

2) “Tell me how you can type Chinese words on your PC plz. Pls larrr” in which an explanation was given, and that person said, “Hah?? Where to download? Got many types wor” in which another link to that particular download was given, and he said, “Download this one izzit? Sure bo?”
Honest response: *clicks on Block this person from seeing you or contacting you*
Polite response: *inhales more oxygen that was depleted quickly due to a body-system shut down in response to that particular person's stupidity*

3) Sees a friend using a spyware program, in which that person was told to remove it using a specific program. “Okay..I’ll download it.” That program was not installed, and the spyware remains in the PC.
Honest response: Tak nak dengar sudah.
Polite response: Seriously man..remove it! *pleas ignored*
