Casino Royale

Ugh, domain expired and my host didn’t auto-renew it for me as I had thought they would. :/ Sorry for the downtime, if anyone noticed at all.

---

On the 16th about past midnight, I was getting a bit fed up with MSN when I kept getting undelivered messages. As a last resort of wanting to contact Jon, I edited my personal message so it displayed this: “msn sucks. can you read this jon? reply in your personal message? >_>”

Lo and behold I got a reply not from Jon but my classmate Bryan. It read: “clem..!!i can read..”

And it continued:

I found it really funny, in a way.

Yesterday, Bryan fetched the lot of us to Summit to watch the movie Casino Royale during our 3-hour break, but the 3 girls who were sitting with us decided that the movie wouldn’t be that interesting, or sommat, leaving Bryan, Andy, and I to watch it.

I thought the movie’s the best among the James Bond movies I’ve actually watched. Eva Green is absolutely stunning, Daniel Craig has enormous abs and chest that borders on the fake side (he quite suit the role imo, so it puzzled me why people lambasted him before the movie was even out), and the conversation between the hero and the heroine was quite amusingly witty most of the time.

It isn’t a typical Bond movie, mind you, where it ends happily ever after after a romp with the Bond girl. There’s more emotional depth, character development, and less of those fancy gadgets, although I find the action scenes here quite exciting especially the scene with the bad guy running away parkour style. Woot!

Crazy chest I tell you.

Gorgeous Eva Green~ <3

The art of parkour.

Oh, and the Aston Martin is quite sleek, and returning side characters like M makes the movie all the more fun.

Quite an entertaining, elaborate watch that lasts about 2 hours 15 minutes, give and take. My rating would be 9/10.

At night, Fang Chyuan dropped by my house after his house’s fuse burned resulting in no electricity. After making several phone calls on where to go, apparently Shawn, Heng, Andy, and Wai Hong were going to Murni SS2, and asked if I could drive since “my car full lah”.

Okaaaay. Long story cut short, in the end at almost 10.20pm, after fetching Sarah, Suet, Jess, Fang Chyuan, and Ding, where we almost went to Murni as well, we went to the USJ 1 mamak since we figured we’d like a change than the regular Tanjung we were accustomed to.

Ryui Bynn dropped by for a while too. Considering how we (6-7 of us) were huddled together over a single table, it was easier to talk and listen to one another compared to previous mamak sessions. Quite possibly the best mamak outing, with topics ranging from ethical and moral issues to deaths and holidays.

Finally went back at about 1am.

kaitzin: yaya his chest and shoulders. I must’ve been tired when typing that out was really referring to his pecs swt.

Anyway I thought the story was okay.. I just like this mellowed down Bond version without all those terlampau chun gadgets haha :p

Baz: yeah not the abs sorry.. must re-edit entry to betulkan. ya it looks too fake.

koekoe: what’s gopher?? First thing that comes to mind is that mole dude in Winnie the Pooh lol.
