Since the golden rule of being in a bonus 6-month long holiday is to not stay at home as often as you can, I decided to join Andy, Heng Li and Esther to Pyramid at about 12.30pm. Andy picked Heng and I up from my house, then proceeded to go to Pyramid and took ages in search of a parking space, going up and down the levels repeatedly.
Ah, did I also mention that it was raining. As usual. The pretty random weather these days.
We went to McDonald’s to have lunch (only Heng and Andy ate, since Esther is sick and I’ve already eaten at home), then.. we just walked around window-shopping with the exception of Heng. We awaited for the others to arrive: Kai Tzin, Jess, Sarah, Geok Leng, where we found them eating at San Jian Chuang (it’s Sarah’s official birthday today).
There’s nothing much to describe, and I wish again I could post up pictures where it will be most helpful in lightening up a wall of text but Sony’s service headquarters told me my camera will be fixed in a week’s time, which I hope holds true.
We basically walked about for hours just to shop, and the girls’ zeal for shopping is something like this:
“WAH~~ Imagine if I wear this larger skirt here, and the smaller skirt on my boobs, how ah LOL *gigglegiggle* *tries various attire for 300000 seconds*” </Esther>
And me, I spotted a T-shirt I fancied, went to the changing room, found it unsuitable (it’s too white and transparent enough that your nipples are visible) and returned said shirt. The end.
x___X
Skipping all the shopping part, we finally decided to go for dinner at 7.30pm, while Andy, Heng and I went to Andy’s house first to tunjuk muka to his parents before we go out again.
Ate at Pizza Uno. Was a bit reluctant to eat there since I just withdrew money from the ATM and the balance isn’t exactly something to be envied. I shared a Chicken Milanian or something of that sort with Heng (RM23), a special only for today as the head chef’s here. It’s mystically tasty with scents of herbs on the chicken breasts, and while it’s something very exotic, it’s unfortunately not filling since we’re both sharing the same meal. :(
Wanted to buy more food, but the money in my wallet pleaded and screamed “NO!”. Sarah’s birthday song was performed by the Pizza Uno crew (and us), then followed by a free complimentary dessert (a tiny strawberry cheese cake) thanks to Mam.
I finally went home by Sarah’s car at 9.30pm.
