22 Sep 2005 3:53 pmDidn’t do much in school, so we ended up camwhoring the entire day. Finally caught that bug, and I realised how much fun that is.
From Suet’s cam last two days, said I look good but I think otherwise.
Haha, best camwhoring pic evar. Love Daniel’s look.
The gang busy at the back with Add Maths while ignoring the English test.
Wai Hong exclaiming when he couldn’t get to add marks for Bio.
Dan and Jon eating nasi lemak. Dan (this sounds cooler, ya know?) ate a RM2.20 nasi lemak from opposite school while Jon devoured his from the canteen. Ugh.
Love this pic too.
Whee Andy.
I’ve no idea what we’re trying to achieve in this photo.
Shu Wen pretending to arm-wrestle Daniel, as Kai Shen cheers on.
The entire class lines up to ask Daniel the genius about Physics.
A closer look.
Me and Daniel.
Teck Seng sportingly don that flirty look.
Teck Seng decides to turn evil instead. Finally finished the senior pages after hours of slaving on the PC from 4pm till midnight. It’s a bit disappointing when no one else from my class helped me with this – even ideas would be good but I received next to almost nothing – except for a handful of people like Wai Hong, and Ryui Bynn who chipped in a bit today after phoning him for some pics.
As I saw the words I typed, ‘Memories’, on the colour page, nostalgia kicked me in the stomach but I realised with a certain..sadness and disappointment that most of my classmates won’t share the same sentiments. All the ideas of striving, working hard, studying madly for that very elusive As seemed to be hard-wired to their brains like a bunch of mindless zombies.
But I suppose that’s what makes 5A and 5B so vastly distinct. And I’m not sure whether I should be glad that I’m in 5A, but for last year’s sake, I’ll pretend that I am. Our class is touted as one that does nothing but study and has no life. I’m inclined to agree, but today’s activities in class proved that wrong – for once. In some coloured moons.
After Wai Hong did that gig of his with the mock game show, I told him, “Wah, that’s the funniest thing our class has ever did.”
I tried to think of any extremely comical things we’ve done in the past, but nothing sprang to mind immediately. He looked at me in a serious sad face and nodded. It sounds so sad and pathetic and it is.
If I ever looked back at my secondary school, I think my memories will be mostly with that of 5B. All the happier fun times. The amount of pictures I have of them, and me with them, surpass that of my class greatly.
Which is why I decided to go on a camwhoring rampage today so I’d have more pictures of ‘em and wouldn’t forget them. I think I’ll camwhore myself with every classmate of mine beginning next week. For fun.
Heng Li best sums up what I was saying with this printscreen-of-the-day:
Final results of my work spanning several days:
