My love for The Corrs has been rediscovered. Nothing can describe how ecstatic I feel when I read on the ‘Net that a new album is in the making, tentatively called Home, and it’s due to be released in September or October. And that’s when FFVII: Advent Children’s released! :D It makes living all the much worthwhile, to look forward to all these. Yeah sorry, that statement sounds stupid but oh well :D
I’ve just downloaded a videostream of their live private acoustic performance in Paris, where they performed several 8 songs, some of them from their upcoming album. Imagine my joy, like a little kid again, listening to these brilliantly crafted songs, flavoured with the traditional Irish, and I think I should add Dublin to my to-travel-to places. And listening to Andrea speaking French is fun, even though I’ve no idea what she’s talking about :D What an amazing gorgeous bunch they are.
I’ve been catching up on all Corrs-related news I’ve been missing, and apparently Andrea Corr acted in a short 20 minute film (which will be presented at film festivals) called The Bridge. I’ve also watched the trailer to it, so, yeah :) It’s reason enough to smile and not to study! :)
Here’s a trivia: Do you know that Andrea is originally an actress? She acted first in a movie called The Commitments in 1991, and also appeared in another movie, Evita, alongside the likes of Madonna. Heh. :D
What else eh. The following days, weeks, or months to come will be a music extravaganza. I will be purchasing Coldplay’s X&Y album (their album cover, and the single Speed of Sound, and the lyrical genius are reasons enough) soon. And there’s a new m-flo song on the loose! I’ve downloaded the music video of it, but since it’s missing what would be the most vital part, the audio, I can’t hear it. Watch out for m-flo loves EMYLI & YOSHIKA - Loop in My Heart, with the two amazing girls who sang together with m-flo in the songs Dopamine and the now popular (among us) Let Go respectively. I can’t waaaaaitttt to hear it XD
Screw exams. Final week. I’m gonna go on some entertainment rampage after this.
