The lack of entries are definitely not attributed to the upcoming SPM. Heck, SPM does not and will not hinder my obssesively compulsive passion that is writing, and just like I mentioned eons ago, typing on a PC is completely therapeutic.
My buddy from Bandar Utama, Soon Guan came over to stay overnight to study since Wednesday, which is also the date I stopped blogging to be a host as best as I could. To be honest, I suck in every conceivable way to be a proper host to at the same time entertain and educate and talk to someone I’ve never seen since last year or so.
So a summary on what I was up to for the past few entry-less days.

==—-==
Studied at BK as usual with the same set of people. Soon Guan came to BK after dropping his stuffs at my house, and we studied. Or ‘studied’.
Walked back to Shawn’s house, and lingered about the house before Andy plunged himself into the kitchen and we were suddenly all invited to eat. When we finally got back home, I find myself eating the exact same food that was at Shawn’s house: curry, and egg fried with vege.

It’s a Hari Raya, and we all went to Pn Zainab’s house for her open house at 1.30pm. She has a quaint little traditional Malay decor in her house, and I thought it was sweet. And she herself has a really sweet character whom we all love her for it.

Chocolates for Pn Zainab.

Shawn pretends to be cute.

What’s for lunch?

Jon the madcap.

Homemade food!

Mother and daughter looking demure.

Eating while chit-chatting.

Damn poser lah.
Pn Zainab’s son.

Carbonated sirap.

One of the photos hanging on the wall. She appeared to be receiving an award from..the Agung?

Esther is a gluttonous one as usual. Look at the chocolate stuck to her tooth.

Jon squeezed in Shawn’s car on the way back.

Sempat look around while driving.

Shawn attempted to throw Wai Hong into Court 8’s swimming pool.
Yes, so we all went to Suet’s house to watch some pirated show, since most of them didn’t want to shell out money to watch at the cinema. We were in two different cars, hence two different groups, and the ones in Kai Tzin’s car (who has yet to get his license, but drove anyway o_O) went to Summit to look for pirated DVDs.
Chicken Little appeared to be ‘little’ as they couldn’t find a pirated copy of it, so we ended up with The Exorcism of Emily Rose. The name itself gives you the chill.
Some spoilers ahead. The movie was alright, wasn’t entirely scary despite what all horror movies do, proclaim themselves to be the scariest movie of the year and turns out shitty. What I thought was, Americans are easily scared shitless by the supernatural while we Asians not so. Shove them a Ring 0 at the cinema and watch them curl up and die.
The only part I actually liked was when Emily screams out the name of the 6 demons inside her. “AND I AM LUCIFER!” That’s so cool. And that’s about it.
Of course we were a bit scared while watching it but it wasn’t disturbing enough to get you nightmares. In fact, despite the show repeatedly showing that ‘3am is the time when the dark forces are very active in mocking of Jesus’ purported ressurection at 3pm’, Soon Guan and I went ahead and stayed awake right till 3.30am watching silly comedies on StarWorld.

Waiting for the others to come back.

Watching the movie.. also notice Esther digging some precious gold.

Too bad camera conveniently ran out of batteries.
Went out to BK yesterday to study, at night as well. Andy dropped by after BK for a short while, and hanged around for a bit.
Today, spent my entire afternoon on Dreamcast playing Power Stone 2.
I’m sick of my life before SPM, it’s getting too.. routined for my liking, if there’s such a word. The one thing I’m looking forward to after SPM is the Langkawi trip, but that seems to be stumbling upon more obstacles than I can predict. Exactly like that Aus trip, getting me excited and all after planning everything from accomodation to budget, and it all amounts to empty talk.
Why should this be any different?
