Ding Dong’s Birthday

Daniel’s birthday was yesterday, celebrating his 17th anniversary of his birth since he was a wee little crying boy with a microscopic organ.

I sat Kai Shen’s car with Ding to SS15’s Canadian 2 for 1 Pizza where we awaited the rest to arrive. Chee Hee (who was driving) and Teck Seng had already reached there before us, so while waiting for the girls who were buying a birthday cake, we chatted and caught up with old times.. like a bunch of old dudes.

Let’s just say that there were too many things to talk and too many ways to camwhore.

Suet, Esther, Jess.

Suet and I.

Happy group pic.

Ding’s orgasmic cake.. not made out of orgasm, heh.

The table was too low to get a shot of the cake, so Ding had to carry the plate with the cake with one hand.

And the guys.

Blowblowblow~job the birthday cake sudah tua.

This was Suet’s attempt to get us to “smile the largest possible!”.

And Kai Shen’s, Jess’, and Esther’s attempt.

Let’s pause in between the barrage of pictures and contemplate Ding’s unfortunate birth month and age: November. 17 years old.

For some reason since primary school (or kindergarten even), among our seniors and ourselves, there was always an invisible social line where both sides were forbidden to cross over, to mingle with one another – as if it’s only considered ‘normal’ to mingle only with people your age.

I’ve always wondered why I had always felt a little proud to have ‘senior friends’, or acquaintances, if you like. That Ding looked rather mature beyond his age, and that age shouldn’t even be a factor to consider in a relationship of any kind were something most of us naturally ingratiated within ourselves.

But age was always humorous. None of us could stop poking fun at his being a year younger than all of us, that he still relied on us for transport, that he still could not legally get into 18+ movies, that he still would be barred from many 18+ places.

But then again I’ve never felt any different either. Never more mature, never any worse.

The girls pretending to be unhappy. Suet and Esther pulled it off successfully save for Jess.. rofl.

Being frustrated with Jess’ inability to stop laughing (to tears, in fact), Suet pretended to cry.

Suet and Esther became very annoyed with Jess.

Tons of similar prison ID photos snapped, but I’ll post the more amusing ones:

This is Daniel Ding, caught for masquerading as a gigolo in a woman’s top (which Esther bought for him a week ago or so).

This is.. I’ll keep you guessing. This person immediately laughed out loud uncontrollably after only a second of holding this pose.

The rudimentary and required elements of birthday bashes: a smash to the face with a cake! (Esther’s doing, of course.)

Ding went to the toilet only to find no water running from the basin rofl. Had to resort to the old-fashioned kampung way of rinsing the cake remnants off.

We stayed quite long after finishing our four large pizzas recording ourselves in various stupid poses, while chatting away. Having satisfied ourselves, we went outside of the restaurant only to be attacked by a flying cockroach minutes later, first landing on Teck Seng’s hand, and then flew to Suet’s back. In a cockroach-phobic society, you can imagine the chaos: all of us running improperly and screaming unorderly.

I sat Chee Hee’s red SLK, which was behaving quite amusingly as it churned excessive rumbling noises whenever Chee Hee switched on the headlights. Annoyed by the unwanted auditory torture, he turned the lights off in the middle of a roundabout and even when driving on the road that it shocked me. We ended up at Ding’s place.

Esther playing Crash Nitro Kart or something on Ding’s PS2. She was quite the sore loser (“OK winner out! Next!”).. but Jess managed to top all of us by beating even Daniel in the game! O__O Amazing considering she doesn’t have a PS2 at home.

Ding’s cute little kitten. She’s more creatively named than my own creatively named pet rabbit Bunny. Guess her name!!!

It’s Meow wtf. <_<

Hwee Yeen whom we didn’t see for ages dropped by when Ding phoned her.. we ended up at Ding’s room till 12am, finally playing a modified version of “Heart Attack” for a while.
