DotA addiction

I think I’m in denial when I say that my guy friends and I are addicted to DotA – I don’t want to believe it, or at least, I still believe I’m in control because I could still manage my time in between studies or Mandarin although I’ve been doing very less of the former lately. And my mid-term exam begins next week, looming up slowly and I dread it.

Of course, what became the quintessential point of this DotA-playing sessions was yesterday, or rather this morning, because after going for two rounds at Kaos SS15 with Ding, Heng, Fang Chyuan, RB, and WH, the 3 of us (me, Ding, FC) went to Jon’s place and continued playing till…

4am plus wtf. wtf. wtf.

The amazing part was I reached home at 4.30am, woke up at 7am for my final 5-hour Mandarin classes till 1pm something and went back home for lunch, after which was another DotA session via Hamachi. D: (Jess once said it sounded like a vulgar Chinese word LOL.) As time passed during the Mandarin class(es), I was actually feeling more awake instead of horribly sleepy (even though I hated waking up for a morning class), partly due to my Intermediate class which was more interesting as we actually relate stories or personal experiences in Mandarin, although this was mostly done by my teacher Ms. Lee – in fact, that’s how we got to know each other better, even though I believe my spoken Mandarin is quite passable.

I took a much needed sleep/nap for about 2 hours when I reached home, disturbed sporadically by SMSes and calls until Jon came to my house to pick up the Wiikey modchip (which was the size of my freaking THUMB) that reached my house: the Wiikey enables your Wii to play backup games, I don’t say ‘pirated’ because that sounds quite wrong. =x (yeah, another denial.)

So yesterday afternoon I went to KLCC with Andy, more of teman-ing him since I didn’t have anything better to do and I haven’t been to the place for ages. We met up with Kai Tzin and Esther (separately) there, and was the place crawling with orang putih, especially since there was an F1 counter there proclaiming 50% discounts that have tons of people lining up for ‘em.

you and your guyfriends are suffering from DOTA ADDICTION!!!
Even if you’re not now, you eventually will get addicted to this DotA game that you guys play via something-that-does-sound-like-a-vulgar-word.

Hu hu hu addicted! Got play the 6.50 map? Hillarious hor. Bought the Thundercat sword item for the Sight Beyond Sight thingy haha… rofl-worthy I tell you! Then now latest map cannot buy Aegis already but gotta GB roshan to get it. Lotsa skirmishes near his den by the river, heh.

Yah latest map can’t buy Aegis edi but I figured it’s better that way, since I rarely ever buy Aegis and those with Aegis is helluva annoying :p

Aegis ftw! Actually not really my sorta item la but it’s cool nonetheless. Now you can Aegis at a low level with the new maps but it’s only one charge hehe. No more 3x resurrection ^_

TESTIMONY:

At the dawn of February 26, 2007, my

testimony about his dream the Sunday
