Drink a Diet Coke quickly.

I find my college (and maybe your own colleges too) quite enjoyable sometimes because we’ve been getting plenty of companies setting up temporary booths and whatnot at our concourse, and plenty of freebies to enjoy.

Take yesterday for instance, Wall’s came and they had this stage thingy where people are invited to participate in various silly games including ‘sing like Elvis Presley’.

And this dude, Arthur if I’m not mistaken, was performing some Michael Jackson moves.

And today we have:

Cadbury chocolates! 2 packets for RM3! Purchasing 4 packets will net you this free Yahoo! Messenger toy that emits a cute bipbipbipbip when you shake it, as well as a chance to participate in a ‘throw a ping-pong ball into boxes’ game where you will win tickets to The Break Up starring Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn.

Huzzah.

So Bryan and I shared the cost of RM6, wanted to share that cute toy as well, and he participated in the game and snagged both of us free tickets (to be given at a later date)!!

BUT. There’s a but that always marr some happy occasion. Always a but.

While playing with the toy, I was about to pass it to Andy, when I shake it extra violently towards Andy’s direction and the fucking thing SNAPPED INTO TWO. WHAT THE FUCK?

Seriously what is with me and my luck with people’s items/toys that seem to disintegrate when I’m only using it for the FIRST FUCKING TIME!? This is only like a week after I broke Andy’s fan. :(

The R.AGE/RedFM team came as well with their camera-videoing competition publicity team, and answering a few ridiculously easy questions like “what’s the frequency of RedFM” when the host was already wearing a shirt that almost literally shouted the answer in your face. I got two cans of not chilled Diet Coke, which as you can imagine, had the potential to make my stomach bloat.

Then the host wanted three guys to participate and I was eyeing on the shirt they were giving away, a plain white one with tiny blue Nokia words emblazoned on the left front of the shirt. After a short persuasion for Kent and Bryan to join, we went to the host and awaited for details. So it happened that the exact prize they were giving away for only one winner was the shirt, andddd zomg the competition was.

*drumroll*

Who can drink the fastest a can of Diet Coke? Wtf.

Was like 1/4 down my can and Bryan finished it all. <_< He walked away with the shirt, while Kent and I were left with two miniature Spritzer bottles rofl. Oh well. Suffice to say the three of us burped a lot of gas, huge amounts at that.

My right eye was somehow red and producing lots of discharge, so went to the doctor at night when it worsened and I was yet again diagnosed as having.

Conjunctivitis.

Not again.

Doc said it’s in the ‘season’, and I probably got it off from someone else or from evil virii in the air. It’s irritating me, and I don’t know if it’s the cause of this nagging headache I’m having now. I searched my kitchen for the Panadols I bought but it seemed to have either been used up by my family members or vanished entirely on its own accord. Had to take my dad’s stronger Panadol which might give me some stomach ache, considering the all sorts of abuse my stomach gets from a variety of odd reasons, especially my lack of lactase.

Time for bed.
