29 Sep 2006 9:31 amYesterday was our last paper of English, which meant a complete much-needed and wanted two weeks worth of holidays!!
*goes off to plan what to do for the remaining 16 days*
*realises everyone else is either schooling, exam-ing, or living at far, far away places*
Oh well.
Our AC2 (my class) culture is such that we are all quite indecisive collectively when trying to make a decision on where to eat and what to do. After sitting down at our concourse for about 20 minutes, deviating from the original topic most of the time, we finally went to eat at our cafeteria.
Andy went off first to collect his PC, so I sat Kent’s car to Pyramid where the entire college gang went to Red Box.
I’m still fairly apprehensive when it comes to singing karaoke because I don’t actually sing quite well. That, and when familiar songs come about, I can’t actually sing because all that appear on the screen are traditional Chinese words, not that it’d make a difference if simplified ones were to appear. :( BAGI PINYIN LAA WTF.
After finishing our karaoke from 12-3pm (in which halfway through Andy and Shawn popped by), we met up with Geok Leng, Sarah, and Jean Hwei at Waffle’s World.
Wanted to watch a movie (been abstaining from it goddamit), but ended up walking around while the girls shop. Shawn and I left them to do our own spot of walking, eating Doraemon’s Dorayaki (it was damned good, 1 for RM1.60, opposite MPH), and 1901’s hotdogs.
Also spotted this rather amusing poster in MPH:

Fiksyen yang erotik wtf. And why isn’t there any Malay word for ‘erotic’? Why keep borrowing English words?? Might as well just use English instead. -___-
Spotted my classmate Bryan a couple of times, and Steffi and a few other coursemates as well.
Went back home at 6pm plus.
We went out again to the cybercafe behind my house (me, Heng, Shawn, Andy) at 9pm plus and DotA-ed for two hours, including Jon who dropped by for an hour. :)
Went to Tanjung for a short while, Shawn dropped Heng who has school the next day, then went to my house where we sat in his car in front of my gate, just chit-chatting away. In fact, as we realised that it was battery-consuming, he turned off his engine and continued our talk. Minutes later as it got warmer and sweat-inducing, we sat cross-legged on my garden instead.
The neighbour’s dogs were barking away, but we chuckled as we sat behind the cover of my parents’ huge Serena MPV, hearing my neighbour yelling at his dogs to shut up.
When we finally realised that there may be ants crawling on the grass, went inside my room instead under the serenading air-conditioner. Continued our so-called “emo talk” which was anything but emo, merely conversations we wouldn’t normally reveal to the others, honest from-the-heart conversations, conversations that we reminisced of days from our early years.
It was quite mentally satisfying, methinks.
Shawn and Andy finally went back at 2.35am.
