English replacement class / Futsal training

Reached Bintang Kejora a tad too soon, at 2pm yesterday; was supposed to go to Shawn’s house first, but I phoned him repeatedly on both his house and cellphone but no one picked up. Long story short, apparently he was having lunch with his dad, waited for me at his house, and then found out I was already at the centre.

90% of the class (about 15 students) were dominated by students from SMK USJ 8 - Form 5A, 5B and 5C. Mr Raj (Chemistry and Physics teacher) whom I have yet to meet apparently couldn’t make it for the Chemistry lesson, so a replacement teacher was sent to the centre – an English teacher.

His name begins with a P, and I couldn’t remember what it was exactly - but he was a very knowledgeable teacher to begin with. His lessons were rather spontaneous, and told us about the history of English very interestingly – with added jokes and laughter thanks to Suet Li and Esther.

When he asked us what the French language is associated with, I whispered rather subtly to Shawn, “Prostitution” which Shawn repeated to the rest loudly. The teacher couldn’t hear what we said, so I repeated what the teacher mentioned something about English earlier, “Transaction” and he misheard it as “Constipation” XD.

And French is the language of love, by the way.

Then Suet Li asked a rather sudden question, “Was Shakespeare gay?”

I had no inkling at all that there had been speculations about Shakespeare’s sexuality; Mr P stood there and began a lengthy (but interesting) explanation, which ended with him saying he’s neutral about this matter. It’s anyone’s guess, really. Apparently, in this Sonnet book Part A, he had dedicated it to a man, and Part B to a widow.

Later in the evening at about 7:45pm, I left house and walked to the USJ 13 field opposite the USJ 13 school itself, under a slight drizzle.

It was rather scary for me as it was rather dark, and I could feel my senses heightened. A stray dog laid down in the middle of the bump for some freaking reason; lamps illuminating the road in a 3-metre interval.

I began to sweat.

The training wasn’t that intensive - wasn’t rigorous enough ‘cause I didn’t feel tired at all (and I know I have quite a low stamina). The training was similar to my previous badminton training - lots of sprinting, push-ups, sit-ups, etc etc. Tiring like hell.

Also mainly because the rest of the guys played a fool mostly - so we didn’t get to train well. ‘Tis my first time at the Exodus’ team’s training, so I don’t think I can comment much :P

I fell on the slippery field and had my pants and underwear soaked with dirty watery mud. It felt like I had peed in my pants ~__~ Wasn’t really comfortable throughout.

After the training, we walked to USJ 11’s field ‘cause the rest seems to want to play against other teams. I didn’t have my dinner, so was pretty much hungry as it was about 10pm at that time.

And we went home at 11.30pm. I have this thing about walking alone at night in dark streets - especially dark empty houses that really freaked me out. Plus, my imagination usually runs wild and..well - suffice to say, I thought I saw a lady in a hood, a dog and some figure among other things.
