Expedition to Putra Heights :D

Warning: Many pictures ahead!

It was exceptionally hot today, and Jon and I embarked on an expedition to Putra Heights ? to explore and simply have fun :D We left house at 7.30am, and after our shortcut to USJ 20 is blocked by extremely muddy and watery terrain, we used the main road instead.

Yet another shortcut straight down to the highway is blocked by a construction site, so we had no choice but to turn around and use a big turn around. We reached Purple Hills soon enough, and we were at the foot of the hill resting.

A view of Purple Hill.

A view of the highway below. I was standing at the foot of Purple Hill, capturing this shot below us. :D

I was gasping for air, my head was dizzy ? I think I didn’t breathe in enough oxygen or something :S I rested for a short while, inhaling the gas of life as much as I can and then proceeded with our journey.

I should?ve known it was a sign. >_>

Putra Heights didn?t look as beautiful as I thought it would be, and since the name has the word “heights”, I was expecting towering condominums around but I know Angela told me before they’re just normal houses.

As it was still early, we decided to explore further and explore we did. We came across a construction site working on some new neighbourhood of some kind.

The construction site.

We ran our bikes our an entire ground of mud, causing my beloved shoes dirtied, and our bike tyres chokeful with mud.

Beautiful picture, this. :D And look at the mud /swt

What happened when we cycled over the torrents of mud. XD

We then decided to turn around. We cycled further, explored some roads leading to nowhere as they were still new.

The two of us..this picture is snapped with the timer mode. :D

This was when my fatigue ? my tiredness ? started to overcome me. I didn?t exercise for a long time, so being exposed to the great UV rays and heat emanating from above, I think I couldn?t take it. I got dehydrated, exhausted.

We explored this particular newly laid-out road..it leads to a dead end too anyway. XD

And this is the road. And the lovely view. :D

On our journey back, it was pure hell. My legs felt like giving away, and climbing a multitude of roads angled at 30 degrees felt like 70. In fact, my previous expeditions to Purple Hill climbing unlevelled terrain and extremely high-angled roads felt much better than this. I was drained.

Saying I was ?bloody tired? wouldn?t really sum up what I was going through. My mind concentrated on breathing in and out, saying I should go on while my legs say otherwise. It felt useless. >.<

When we finally reached Sri Melur, I couldn?t be more relieved. Those final steps to the mamak took a lot of effort. And I couldn?t even lift the small kuah plate at all! My hands, somehow, felt the fatigue as well.

I must?ve looked like shit, as Jon commented a thing or two while we were cycling home.

Fun expedition ? and I hope to go somewhere different another time :D ? but next time, I really hafta exercise more.
