Exposed pullout

So I woke up at about 6.30am today, ate my breakfast and contemplated either switching on the telly or surfing the Net for the results of the Portugal vs France match which I duly missed by sleeping comfortably beneath my blanket.

I contemplated for a moment for a decision of utmost importance, whether to writhe and suffer in anticipation while the news hits me slowly on telly, or to be smacked in the face instantly with the results -- the glory, glory Internet.

I chose the latter.

Portugal vs France: 0-1 greeted me. Sigh. Zinedine Zidane seems to work wonders. @___@

One of the only plus points of Metropolitan College is the availability of free newspapers of various kinds, ranging from R.AGE which includes a free copy of TheStar (on certain days, I’ve still no idea whether it’s a weekly thing or what), TheSun, to TheStar’s World Cup Special Edition pullout.

So I picked up a copy of the free pullout like I did almost everyday.

Yeah, so the heart-breaking hor. But after scanning the front page quickly, one tends to see something.. unsuitable for a pullout that’s distributed throughout the country.

Zhao kong!? boh cheng teh koh oh??

Kesian hor Carvalho, after kena pijak at an unspecified sensitive spot, his gluteus maximus was caught on camera for all 6 billion people to see. Something that never ceased to amaze me is how photographers managed to snap anything and everything that occur at lightning speed at any sporting event.

For example, there was an accident between a Benz and two Protons (I think, not sure lah the exact models) on the way to college earlier which resulted in a huge impact on two of the cars. After going “whoaa..” with my mouth agape I then only thought of snapping a photo - whipped out my trusty Sony and immediately took a picture as we passed by the cars but as usual, my lack of speed, instinct and reflexes costed me a good photo to sell to the media.

Blurrr bleh. It wasn’t my Sony’s fault since it has a pretty good startup speed, allowing for very quick and good point-and-shoot opportunities.

Now excuse me while I, in high-spirited enthusiasm, do a research (most likely hangat-hangat tahi ayam wan la) on the toughest subject among all 5 that we have - Human Communication. I’d like to think it’s tougher than Accounting. x__X
