Just as I thought my leg was almost fine (it is), after my parents brought me for the 2nd visit to the sinseh, my eyes started to act up. Thought it was dust and all, so washed it streneously after dropping off at McD’s for study group at 1.30pm.
An hour or so later it started to hurt so bad I was going to the basin to watch it quite often, but the pain still persisted like a bunch of long sharp instruments with the sole intent of causing me every grievous hurt.
I finally bought Eye-Mo (or whatever that brand is) from Watson’s, and after pouring at least 5 drops into the affected right eye, the pain was still there. Try imagining someone left a needle stuck to your eye, and whenever you try closing your eye, or move it around, it fucking hurts.
I phoned my parents to inform them I’ll be going to the nearby clinic in Taipan, since I can’t bear it any longer. They were at some hospital in Kajang with a distant uncle admitted. But no, dad asked me to wait till they come back since going to the Mediveron clinic in Taipan meant we have to pay (my dad’s companies have a select few of panel clinics/doctors where we could go for free).
Apart from going almost berzerk at the thought of saving a couple o’ bucks while me writhing in utter torturous pain, I couldn’t believe my ears. But I complied. Again, minutes later the pain attacked with a much aggressive force (by this time, my right eye was completely watery and kept producing tears at an alarming rate), I decided to go the doc by walking there. Mum phoned me, informed me that I should take the receipt so my dad could claim 90% of the amount (I was speechless; like, wtf? 90% is better than nothing?) so I went to the clinic, my right eye smarting like shit.
Female Indian doctor looked at me, asked what was wrong, told her about my eye painful like hell, and without so much as even looked at my eye, she told me that I have an eye infection caused by bacteria, and this is due to the freaking haze. Oh god, the irony. To think I was disappointed the haze was almost gone.
She gave me anti-bacteria ointment, eyedrop, painkillers and itch-killers (sleep-inducing). Dad appeared at about 5pm, picked me up and went back home. I understand my parents shelled up more than RM100 for the sinseh for the treatment of my leg, and they were pretty reluctant to spend more money, but the 10% lost of the RM35 I had to pay for my eye was only RM3.50?
Sigh. I guess I know where I got my kam siap-ness from.
I went back home, and grandma, auntie and cousins (including one who just graduated from England from what I could hear while bearing the pain from the kitchen) were all there. I drank a cup of Milo, downed the pills, applied ointment and went straightaway to bed. All the while I felt feverish, and flu was attacking me as well.
While in bed, mum appeared with 2 Panadols so I took them without thinking. It was the longest sleep I ever had. At least, it appeared to be like that, because I felt so much better when I woke up at least 2-3 hours later (like, now).
I dreamt I hosted the most arrogant Japanese guy one could have ever endured, his looks was modelled after Toshi’s, and his name was… Toto. HAHAHA! But he could speak English and Malay (!) quite well.
And as of writing now, my entire family disappeared for dinner with said relatives mentioned above. So I’m a little hungry, but I think I can wait a bit more… Doc gave me MC for tomorrow, saying that I shouldn’t go to school since I could infect other people with it. o_O Andy was kindly helping me with the Eye-Mo and eyedrops when he sat next to me…
It kinda explained why my eyes felt so tired and stuff the night before. It couldn’t be only the astigmatism thing.

Unfortunately, i feel that it actually subside the last two days. i thought it was getting better when i realise on saturday it wasn’t that hazy anymore. Today i was in the base of my church, it was open to the surrounding and my eyes felt sored. I tried washing it but it isn’t effective( it worked last time). Wasn’t as bad as you la. I guess we cant do anything but to wait for the indons to clear up the fire that is still burning in indon. haihz
