Went all the way down to KL with Kean Leong’s dad’s car..with Heng Li, Jon, Suet and Kean Leong himself..to Menara Tan & Tan where the Embassy of Belgium is - at the 10th floor.
This Belgium dude Nicolas Catin was darned funny – making all sorts of jokes with the thick French accent of his. Among his jokes is when Suet asked him whether she can wear mini-skirts there..and he told her to be careful as some people might get drunk..and something *might* happen..lol.
Yeah, so it’s confirmed we’ll be working at the F1 tracks there..WOOT DOUBLE WOOT – selling F1 programme books to these visitors..sounds like an okay job. And we can even watch the race on Sunday (discreetly, by taking off the obscene bright yellow vest) :D And we’ll be given a Petronas T-shirt and cap..and a pass. WOOT. I’m gonna bore all of you by saying…”IT’S GONNA BE FUNNNNNNN!”
So after that, we were taken to the Japan Club of Malaysia near Midvalley which I didn’t know existed in the first place..and we watched adults training Kendo, some kinda martial arts involving wooden sticks and heavy-looking armours, sorta like er..fencing to me. I sat on the floor with the Japanese way..and my legs hurt after I finally stood up.
KL’s dad treated us dinner at some Chinese restaurant..awfully kind of him, especially since he had to ferry us around KL (Kuala Lumpur) and stuff.
Then the whole lot of us were dropped off at my house, where Suet and Hengli battled it out with Soul Calibur II. When I was seeing Hengli and Suet off at my front gate, I loudly told them, “I despise this neighbour of mine, so feel free to throw rubbish at their house.” Seconds later I noticed my neighbour, who was at his house porch, to smoke prolly. Woops.
My family has been on a no-talking terms with their family since I-don’t-know-when. But I remembered playing badminton with their sons before..but didn’t really mix much since they don’t know English well and I don’t know Chinese. And they blared their hi-fi set every single fucking day with what was originally good music into pure noise. Their parents insulted my parents..and my parents in revenge did the same..so ya know, neighbourly feud. Joy.
