26 Oct 2005 3:02 pmOur final year. Final day.
There was that same load of taklimat bullshit for us Form 5s like we had for PMR last two years. Rubitch was delivering her final speech with much gusto (same ol’ stuffs we have heard for the last 4 years), while Mr Victor’s was just nice. Poignant, even. He laced his speech with humour and laughter, and who wouldn’t like him?
After all, as long as we don’t do anything that wasn’t rationally right, we won’t get into trouble, unlike Rubitch who finds fault with every single thing, whether it was rational or not. He made jokes about his balding hair, and advised us laughingly not to bring firecrackers once SPM is over. Like, we already did some clever vandalism, Vic? ;)
We didn’t really get a lot of flak from him, even when we commited some minor crimes under the school’s pretty dumb rules, most probably because we were under the coveted names of Arif and Bestari. Heh. :P
I lost all interest to camwhore after the physically draining arse-sitting for hours listening to speeches non-stop. God, it bores you. So someone else took over my camera and snapped some pics, although pictures (and videos) from Shawn’s camera and Wai Hong’s are far more interesting.
What better way to waste your time than by drenching Esther?
Oooh, another eff word!
Jessica was wet too.But then again we might just go to Genting if the Langkawi plan fails. A backup plan, Shawn calls it.
Today it doesn’t feel like a final day, unlike what I encountered during Standard 6. That’s most probably ‘cause we’ll be meeting each other during SPM anyway, plus I’m sure the closest among us would meet up with one another again. I hope.
We have a final hurdle, as Mr Victor puts it, and once we get past that we’d be released from these mentally decapicating rubbish. And a holiday with friends would put that right.
A final hurdle in nineteen days.

I can’t wait for this to get over. I can imagine myself tanning in Langkawi already.
Bliss.
