30 Jul 2007 9:48 pmAlmost half of my family members fell very sick and fainted yesterday – that is, half of a family of 5. My kakak was the first victim, followed by my youngest bro who caught the virus, and passed it on to my mum on the same day, and the latter two had to be admitted to the hospital due to loss of nutrients, etc, after vomiting and passing motion excessively.
Suffice to say it was scary – due to the rapid deteriorating conditions that occurred in the span of a single day, was even scarier when Brandon fainted. He almost got into fits – eyeballs staring upwards, blood drained away from his face – and it was all because he barely ate anything. The cutest thing out of this entire riot was when my bro tried to cheer my mum by trying to manage a smile, even though he was very sick himself.
Think they’d be discharged in a few days.
And college officially commenced today – am pretty sure this would be a start to a slightly different beginning, but it’s refreshing to see familiar faces. The fact that the class of AC2 had been dispersed into different tutorial classes.. I’m not too sad about that fact, but then I’m not too happy about it either. Just a little readjustment needed into probably a newly formed clique once again, and slapping hands with old faces and new ones—sounds like fun.
Poh Lian and her boyfriend are now in Curtin, making themselves the latest hot couple of Metro (personal endorsement, unofficially). Even more amusing to see the connections between them and ‘us’ linked by our own Jo Vie and friends – I’ve always found such networking connections (not unlike Friendster and Myspace and Facebook) to be very intriguing.
Been quite busy lately with Hidden Street’s endless stream of updates, the end of it is barely in sight.
Don’t mind the inconsistencies in the flow of thought of this entry – generally my head is still dulled from sleeping too much thanks to the coying, cooling rain.
