After school at 2pm (which was another day filled with un-productivity, thanks to the school’s brilliant rehearsals for this coming Thursday), the 9 of us went to Rio de Futsal at 3pm: me, Wai Hong, Toshi, Sasi, Shawn, Nirshan, Kai Shen, Andy and Jon.
It was fun for once, playing futsal among newbies against newbies, and at one point, when Wai Hong, Toshi and I dashed for Jon trying to tackle him, Jon knocked his head against Toshi’s eye, where he now has a bruise.
Then Irony decides to pay a visit. It was at half-time, and after resting for a bit I tried to kick the ball to the goal, but for some reason, I accidentally smacked my foot hard against the turf, missed the ball, felt my leg loose in the air, heard a loud CRACK and fell. GAHHH.
I couldn’t play for the rest of the remaining 20 minutes, and could only watch. I could hardly walk, and felt the muscles tightening around my ankle… which wasn’t very nice. Everytime I exerted a little too much my ankle decides to make a twist. Several dozen twists throughout feels like shit.
“Oh, another Heng Li,” a few other friends commented. Shawn effectively laugh at my unfortunate piece of thrashy incident for the rest of the day, which pissed me off. I visited the doctor later, and it appeared to be a sprained and bruised ankle, and I was advised not to walk too much, and was actually given an MC for tomorrow! >_<
I suppose it’ll be stupid to continue going to school tomorrow, but that’s what I’ll do exactly. Toshi’s 2nd last day (and visit to school), and I’m not about to miss it.
