After Geok Leng said VUH (very useless and hopeless) said that Pn Vasantha SAID that (sorry for the repeated words, but that’s to emphasise my point :)) the upcoming Leo Gala would be on (no reasons were given here, but we automatically assumed that fatV has phoned the Wawasan school to rent their hall), this lifted my spirits up.

When the bell rang at 2pm, I walked down the stairs with Andy and we were on the day to the staff room when we encountered VUH by the stairs. I asked him to reconfirm whether the dinner is really on or not, and he said ‘yes’ very confidently.

When I met Suet at the bicycle shed, I asked her again (knowing I can’t trust VUH) whether the Gala is on or not. She said, “Nola..fat annoying VUH-alike bitch has YET to even PHONE the Wawasan school.” (uh, yeah, exaggerated a tiny bit)

I swear at that moment the birds stopped chirping, the cars stopped moving, and somewhere in this world a volcano erupted, smouldering the sky with its black black ashes.

The flu bug attacked me in the morning, and now I’m down with flu and cough and I’m feeling a potential fever arising. And I overheard my mum telling my maid that I don’t have enough rest (I don’t see the relevance >_<). It’s the same usual WEIRD reason/excuse they give and nagged me whenever I’m sick. I’m sick because some stupid virus/bacteria attacked me, NOT because of lack of rest (which I think I have plenty of, even though I stayed up to past midnight at times).

I suggested to Jon that we (namely him) should PLAY The Good Kind (acoustic, of course) for the Leo Gala (seeing that both of us love the song so so much), and to my utter surprise, he actually agreed! Provided we have a very good female singer. I can be the guy who shakes that shaking-instrument-thingy! ;D Now, who’s up for it?
