So as you know, team u8 of Celcom Youth Ambassadors went to KL Hilton by a really comfy bus. Before that, I was at Jon’s house using his computer (and I was left alone there when Jon’s mum went out to fetch Jon XD), and we went together to school at 5.30pm.
We shared the same bus with SMK Seafield..and KL Hilton’s really really fantastic! The whole lot of us wearing the same coloured attire (black), including Pn Anisah :D Pn Rubiah (our school principal) looked stunning in silver.

We were near the underground parking lot (they even have TILES for the parking area).

A nice group pic, minus Nirshan who didn’t go, and Kai Shen and Esther who had yet to arrive and were going to the hotel by themselves.
A lot of the things we planned didn’t really work, such as a grand entrance (of what I had in mind). We did make an entrance into the Grand Ballroom wearing sunglasses while the MC announced the arrival of the school. Whoa. :D
Before the event started, we were made to wait for some time..and both Angela and Kai Tzin were interviewed by…who else, but Adam, host of 8TV Quickie and Aliya (sp?), the host from Malaysian Idol! They were interviewed right outside the Grand Ballroom, but it was projected live onto two giant screens in the ballroom.

Kai Tzin and Angela interviewed by the two local television personalities :D
The stage was extremely grand as well, as depicted by this pic:

The best part is, we were given each a blue CYA bag, which contains:
- Celcom SIM card worth RM20 with RM10 air-time, with our numbers almost the same as each other except for the last two digits (making it easier for us to contact each other, should we use the prepaid service)
- a blue Celcom pencil box
- a blue graduation hat
The food wasn’t that great, it was unique and the waiters serve you like you’re some kinda VIP. Amazingly, the staff from Celcom wore school uniform and I thought that was really sporting and creative of them. Short speeches, nice performances (Ruffedge, a local Malay band that I hadn’t heard of, but seemed to be quite popular with most of my female teammates, performed several songs), and finally..awards!

Ruffedge performing.
No, my school didn’t win (I thought Suet Li should bag that Best CEO of the Future award..really), but the whole thing was really nice. Fun. :D
One slight incident happened… I lost Nirshan’s pair of sunglasses ~__~ Heng Li commented that I have the tendency of losing someone’s glasses >_>. Bleh, ah well.
I was waiting to snap pics of Atiqah and Esther with Ruffedge at the stage, but there were too many people. =/ So I directed my camera and pointed it at both Adam and Aliya, but both went off the stage. So I pointed my cam at Adam, and snapped without thinking. Kai Shen said he was actually posing for me cam as he was smiling towards our direction. o_O

The pic I was talking about.

A closer look at our two hosts on the stage.
It ended at about 10.30pm..supposed to begin at 7.30pm.

Final group photo before we leave, near the Grand Ballroom.
And so we began our journey home, and I slept for a while in the rather comfy bus (I shall stress comfy). Arrived back at school at 12am. Phew.

The lot of us in the bus.
Before we went back, we played around near the office, and snapped some pics.

Funny pic. Note everyone’s expressions carefully. XD This is my current MSN avatar.

Another group pic.

Woot. Don’t they look cool? XD Didn’t join the group pic as I don’t have sunglasses.
Eugene and I walked back home at about 12.30am..On reaching home, my tired mind wandered about the earlier grand night, and I thought about uploading pictures from my cam later. It dawned upon me that I left the bloody camera in school. So I tried phoning Heng Li, who was waiting for his dad to pick him and Shawn up before I left. No one answered it. I tried Shawn. It gave me an immediate beep and a message about the line being unreachable.
Cursing myself silently, I went into my house compound and took off my tie and put down the CYA bag on the nearby chair. I thought for a short while, and did what seemed most logical and appropriate that my tired mind could think at that time: cycle to school immediately and retrieve the lost object.
So I did just that, while attempts to call Heng Li at least 5 times failed. It was a rather cooling night, so it wasn’t that bad, and Khalifah was still rife with people dining at nearly 1am. When I reached the school gate, it was locked, and I called out at the guard who seemed to be half-asleep or something.
I told him I left my camera on the bench near the office, and he allowed me in. It didn’t take me long to find it as I remembered exactly where I left it. The kindly guard nagged at me a little, saying I shouldn’t be leaving expensive items around..etc. And I bade him good night.
On the way home, several metres away from my house, the end of my black trousers caught on the gears of my bike, and tore a little. =.=" After surfing on the net for a short while, I slept at 1.30am.

Went to Heng Li’s house at 10.45am with Eugene; he was saying something about having a fight with his dad over his “lost” handphone. We took Metro Bus no. 13, and stopped at Carrefour..waiting for some time before Jon arrived with Jeremy at almost 12pm.
Going to Midvalley via KTM was easy, except for that almost one hour journey. Switched station at KL Sentral, and off we went. Ate at McD’s for lunch, and met up with Wai Hong. The turkish ice-cream for RM3 was darned creamy, and probably the best ice-cream I’ve tasted ever. :D
The edu fair wasn’t as crowded or big as I thought it would be, but it was okay, and it fed me with information on the IT sector mostly. They even had a talk by one of the dudes from Microsoft Malaysia, so we listened.
The brochures are definitely useful, lots of tiny freebies were dished out by the colleges. We asked questions, had most of ours answered by the kind and English-fluent people from various institutes.
HL went shopping a bit at Metrojaya and bought a pair of jeans, I went to hunt for my Do As Infinity CD. The one I was looking for wasn’t at any of the music stores; there were old DAI albums priced at RM51 =.=" (imported).
Jon and Jeremy left earlier, and Wai Hong tagged with his sister and her boyfriend after the three of us decided to leave. Eugene was picked up by his parents at Subang Jaya KTM, and Heng Li and I dined at KFC for dinner. Hitched a Mini Bus home.
As public transportations go, it took us a total of 2 hours (of both trains and buses) to reach home (==>_>==), at about 8pm.
