Habitual habits

I seem to have a knack at, well, being ill with a myriad of diseases, and one of them that I can add to my growing album of illnesses is eczema, which I’ve been suffering for months now wtf.

Nolah it isn’t as terrible as it sounds, but it’s some weird skin ailment that seems to be attacking my left thumb and right forefinger, which was why at those passport/IC centres, the poor fingerprinting machines can’t detect my left thumbprint at all, because I have no actual skin on my left thumb to begin with. My skin at these particularly spots keep flaking and flaking ad infinitum and new skin doesn’t seem to be able to grow on them at all. They just.. flake and drop off wtf.

Which was why I get cuts on these two particular digits quite easily, even though I didn’t exactly cut them with sharp objects. They just seem to cut by themselves.

I suppose this is like some kind of weird tradeoff in my life, to be ill in exchange for my computer knowledge or something wtf *econs nerd wtf.

In any case, I made a quick visit to Dr. Ooi on Thursday (quick in this case, is taking about an hour) and let her conclude the diagnosis, after which she prescribed me what she called an ‘expensive cream’ rather than the useless steroid creams given before by other doctors. It costs RM140 for a miserable small tube wtf, but thank god almost all visits to her are covered by my dad’s company.

..the end.

I also have two particular habits that are of minor annoyances to my friends and family, and MOST of the time I didn’t even realise I was doing it.

The first of which is shaking my right leg, in which I do all the time absent-mindedly much to my mum’s utter distaste (something about that Chinese superstition of shaking all your luck away). There are really no particular reasons to doing it because sometimes my leg felt as if it had developed a mind of its own, but there was one time when Kai Tzin slapped my thigh hard as I was shaking my leg subconsciously a lot next to him in the cinema >.>

Another habit of mine is to sigh – a lot. Again, yes I seem to be doing it subconsciously, because as the sigh escaped from my mouth did I actually realise the action even though there was no real reason to it. When I feel tired, I’d sigh. When I have many things on my mind, I’d sigh. But there was a time when I didn’t even realise myself sighing loudly during a Human Comm presentation 3 semesters ago because I was too nervous wtf, until Bryan told me when my presentation ended.

Time to work on my studies for my upcoming finals.
