Yesterday, Asa, Teck Seng, Wai Hong, Daniel and I went to the USJ 1 mamak to discuss our Tioman plans further which came to nothing. >_>

Teck Seng trying to see the PSP Asa is holding viciously.
After an almost fruitless meeting, we went to the nearby cybercafe for the usual round of CS for 2 hours. It’s only RM2 per hour there on the weekdays (save for Friday).

A pic of Asa and Ding, a little blur but I thought it’s a nice picture to show how the cafe looks like.

Asa and Ding posing, with his gay pose.
Then today, had to wake up early at 7am to catch a bus at 8 something to our workplace near Subang Parade. Ended up in the same bus number 13 with Kai Tzin and Ding who are working together with me.
Since we reached at 8.45am, which is 45 minutes earlier than our work-time for today, we went to the nearby cafe which sells expensive drinks and food (ice lemon tea for RM3 plus) to pass our time away. Obviously I didn’t purchase anything to save up for the upcoming Tioman trip.

Kai Tzin and Ding’s drinks served by the waiter.
We went to the 9th floor of Wisma Consplant (the building next to Subang Parade) to reach the floor of P&G (Procter & Gamble). Had to wait for a while at the lounge for our supervisor or something named Farah, but as there were no seats left, Ding and I went to the pantry to sit down (maklumlah baru datang kerja..).

A pic snapped from the pantry, showing the lounge. The guy on the left is our colleague Brendan (who was rather.. eccentric with his too English-perfect ways) and Kai Tzin. Behind them is a range of SK-II products.
The job you see, is calling up candidates printed from Jobstreet.com and asked if they can attend some problem-solving test this coming Saturday. A talksheet was given out so basically all we had to do was refer to the thing and talktalktalk.
It’s an easy job, but being an international firm and all, we had to sign some for-temporary-staff contract stating we cannot disclose trade secrets blahblahblah. Heh.
Being in a small room and all, us telephoning at the same time resulted in a horrible audio distortion that resulted in us unable to hear the person at the other end of the line very frequently. But of course, we got used to it in the end… as the following video shows. (It’s the first time I’m using youtube, and I might be using youtube to show videos on this blog instead of referring to my Downloads section. Please wait while the video loads, and read on. If you wish to have an originaly copy of the video, just tell me.)

Daniel and I went to the toilet together, only to discover we need the key to it from the receptionist. =___= Can’t curi tulang haha.. what with the toilet being so far away, near the elevators and all.

This is how the room looks like, with my colleagues huddling around this tiny table.

Both Daniel and I had to move away to the window in order to minimise the audio disturbance. >_>
As you can see, for lunch we had McDonald’s. It costed almost RM10 which almost ate up my RM50-per-day salary. Heh.
We clocked off at 6pm, waited for a while for Shawn to arrive who then drove us to Asia Cafe nearby. Jon was already there, then Andy, Adrian, Esther, Jess and Sarah arrived.

Jon smiled gaily (pun intended).

The final pic of Andy has to be taken in the loo.
The dinner at Asia Cafe was to ‘celebrate’ Andy’s Last Supper, before he flies off to Beijing, China with Ryui Bynn. Wanted to go to the airport to see them off, but Shawn’s car can contain only so many, plus I was horribly tired due to lack of sleep. So the only thing I could afford to do was to phone him before his departure.
A friend leaving for an overseas trip for twenty days, whose presence will be missed.
