Hello Tifa

Being a self-professed non-believer has its odd hypocrisies, after at least two encounters with the paranormal (not by seeing lah, I’d die of fright) it made me reconstruct my beliefs and let me open my mind a little, that ghosts could very well exist – whether in the terms of the scientific ‘energy form’ or those nasty, hideous ones you see in films.

So it’s the Hungry Ghost Festival yet again where they spend 15 days of their annual leave roaming the earth. No, no encounters so far (thank god), but I’ve gotten sick since Tuesday. It started with minor throat discomfort on Sunday night, and yes it persists till now.

A trip to the clinic (Dr Ooi) was in order, when I skipped Tuesday’s afternoon lecture and asked my mum to drive me home. Blabla spent an hour there waiting and waiting and when it was finally over, I spotted the most amusing sight of this entire month.

Two aunties/grandmas playing Nintendo DS in the clinic O___O HOW AMUSINGLY RARE IS THAT! And their DSes have fucking cool colours, though I didn’t find out what games they were playing.

Come Wednesday morning I felt heavy-headed and was too lazy to go to college for IST 100 tutorial and computer lab session. Mind you this was all pre-meditated since I managed to acquire a well-deserved MC, because IST 100 is a ridiculously easy subject where its lab sessions teach you how to use Microsoft Word wtf (next week is PowerPoint -___-) and its tutorials are answering MCQ questions that tackle hardware and software so far.

In keeping up with the tradition of naming my little gadgets, I spontaneously named her Tifa when iTunes demanded a name. This is an 80GB wonder. :D
