High-lo-points

Would have cycled to school today, but left my bike in the school’s bicycle shed as I went to the bank yesterday. I asked my mum if she could fetch me, and she looked shocked or terribly surprised to hear me suggesting that, and after nearly arguing with her for the billionth time since birds fly, I walked to school in a huff.

I walked, walked, walked past Court 7, then the dingdongs rang in the air, confetti fell all over me, and a spotlight shone directly on me and the object behind me.

It was the saviour… Puan Ngu Ting Ting! In her white Kancil with a big fat P slapped on both front and back sides. She horned at me, I looked behind, she gestured me to tumpang her car and I gladly did that.

She’s really sweet, even though she can barely speak in English and conversed in Chinese-accented Malay to me (I would have felt awkward, but then again, I’ve had enough experience talking to my cousins YEARS ago in Malay. Thank god we don’t do that now). She talked to me about everything within that short span of 5 minutes, the traffic, that slow car on our left, hilariously begged the cars to cepat sikit la when we were stuck in a minor traffic jam in front of Seafield 3, talked about Pn Rubiah who implemented the new reach-before-7.30 rule for TEACHERS 2 months ago, complained how she didn’t take into consideration that some teachers really have something to do and can’t make it on time, said how her friends and her agreed that all of them felt more tension after that implementation.

She’s one of the nicest teachers, even though we don’t speak the same language (I sucked terribly in Mandarin). The fact that Jared, an Indian, could speak far more fluent Mandarin than me was embarassing (according to Pn Yee, when I asked Jared what a certain phrase that she uttered earlier meant).

All of us was busy trying to correct errors on our Biology and Chem reports; I had to redo three freaking experiments and found out later I don’t really need to for the Bio ones. Bah.

If there’s one word to describe what I’m feeling now, it’s the after-pissiness tide. ‘kay, that’s two words. It’s the feeling you get when you’re so fucking pissed, tries to cool down by various methods, and what you get is like a hurriedly done after-shave. Still rough, but cut down a lot definitely.

Went back by Yen’s Myvi (woot!) after tuition plus usual mamak, when I stopped by at Shawn’s house to borrow his boots for Cameron’s trip. Apparently Shawn’s mum went to tilik nasib or something of that sort, and apparently Shawn isn’t doing well in his exams because he has too many activities, so his mum is cutting down on HIS activities.

Shawn has his high and low points (like we discussed), my high-points being able to go out whenever I want, and my low points – not being able to drive whenever I want. Shawn’s the opposite. Reached home, and instantly barraged by my mum about the Cameron’s trip, bitching from “If I know food and transport not included in the RM90 I wouldn’t have let you go” to “You BETTER GIMME THE ITINERARY BY TOMORROW”. Pre-menstrual syndrome? Christ.

And our class had a good sex-related discussion which spawned from a talk between Ryui Bynn and Suet Li. Went on about telling our children in the future about sex (RB disagreed about telling his future children on sex, which we disagreed), discussed about homosexuals and transvestite (“they’re still human after all”, Suet Li said, and I concurred), and kissing in public, and goodness knows what. En Darnalis who was relieving our class tak boleh tahan with our convo and left the class, citing that particular reason.

It all started with our Biology folio…
