21 Mar 2007 3:50 pmI was about to begin this entry complaining about the dratted blocked nose and an equally blocked throat that are ailing me, which means every few minutes down the corridor you’ll hear my coughs and sniffs intermittently. But then after reading an entry of Su Ann’s about Mukhsin, I’m assaulted by this naive feel-good sensation that seemed to have grown on me out of nowhere. I don’t quite know how to put these feelings into words – but it’s as if hope, innocence, and love have been given a new drape as a makeover, in the form of a movie too simple to be true.

During our Tuesday weekly The Great Long 3-Hour Break yesterday, my collegemates and I decided that we had too much petrol and went splurging it on a trip to The Curve – for lunch (quite er, spontaneous, after last two weeks’ bak kut teh lunch at Klang at the same break on the same day). Being the infamous indecisive lot that we are, even while we’re on the road leading to The Curve, we almost deviated from the original plan because Andy suggested SS2 for one of its infamous food, whose name escaped me at the moment.
In the end, we settled it with a simple rock-paper-scissors.

Unrelated picture, but this was snapped when Suet came over to my house 3 days ago, where my youngest brother displayed his extreme agility and flexibility.
We walked around The Curve for some time, being unable to decide on a restaurant when the task was passed on to me, on the pretext of being the birthday boy whom my collmates didn’t celebrate for.
I eventually decided on Hooked, purely because the prices seemed reasonable and they have free Wi-Fi!

This is my Aglio Olio with Peppercini, delicately spiced yet juicy enough to turn your tongue into orgasm heaven. Only RM9.90++, which includes the above food, a bowl of soup (choices between mushroom soup and onion soup), and free-flow drinks!

The girls – Vick Kee, Chai Huey, Pui Yan, Kay Li.

I also brought my DS along to play, but Pui Yan hogged it by playing New Super Mario Bros. She was completely taken off-guard when snapping this.

Group pic. An earlier group pic taken by the waiter failed because his hands were just too shaky.

And another!
Turns out that my collegemates treated me my lunch to celebrate my birthday which was belated – about a month late :P Quite sweet of ‘em though and completely unexpected.
On the way back (we were in Vick Kee’s startlingly green Wira), some old cina apek lightly banged us from behind near SJMC. -___- To sum it up, he’s a stubborn old fart but we managed to settle it at a mechanic’s at SS14 (we were 30 minutes late for class, but Bryan and Vick Kee went and settle it later), where he paid the damage he caused to the bumper in full (over RM100).
Useless trivia: Both Andy, PY, and I were wearing yellow tops and it’s quite coincidentally bizarre when we were together in the same car, as we didn’t exactly plan to wear the same colour. I wore yellow as it was DiGi’s Free MMS day today, which was quite a stupid reason to decide on what T-shirt to wear.
