My youngest brother came into my room at night with my mum as always, like a daily ritual of some sort. Because I was completely busy with college and my occasional trips to nearby entertainment locations, we didn’t really had much time to talk.

And this time, my mum told me how Brandon had been telling her about Sannah, his classmate. When my mum asked him repeatedly if she is his friend, my cute little bro said, “No. Girlfriend!”

It’s most amusing to hear these particular words, society-driven words, coming out from my Down Syndrome-inflicted brother. Further amusement comes when my mum said that he doesn’t want my mum sleeping with him on the bed anymore, but he wants Sannah instead.

Thought it was a curious anecdote. A light-hearted one. Just when you thought they don’t know anything.

Malaysian Studies exam today.

I cheated! Hah! But ah, it doesn’t involve looking over at the people sitting around me, or bringing in small strips of paper or anything of that sort. You wouldn’t be able to guess. :) Not that I want to tell anyway since the fear of me being incriminated against is there. >_>

After exams, the whole lot of us drove to Pyramid to eat brunch at Kim Gary. We reached there at 10.30am which it was inevitably closed, so we snap pics at the sticker station wtf. RM3 per person, multiply that by 8.

Kim Gary’s food sucked totally when we ate there, my cheese-baked rice didn’t taste what it was supposed to taste like the previous times I’ve been there.

Had a car to use at home, so I drove Andy and myself to McD’s Taipan to study our Accounting at about 3.30pm. Heng and Shawn dropped by too for a while.

I continuously find Mandarin to be quite a sexy language, that made me quite proud to have this language as a cultural legacy sometimes. Its tonal melodies, its exotic pronunciation, its colourfully simple semantics that make Mandarin what it is.

And when a complete beginner like me make a complete sentence of sort sometimes, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of accomplishment.
