I’m a criminal

And all this while I had already thrown my bag to one corner, hiding it. Farrael volunteered to take my bag to the prefect’s room, and I thanked him for that. He told me he’ll pick me up later. It was spotcheck time in assembly ~__~

I waited for a while more… and who should appear but EUGENE (head prefect, classmate) and MISS THEN (Photography Club teacher advisor, teacher advisor for the Prefectorial Board I believe, and Bio teacher). It was like the royal patrol guards at that moment. And I’m left wide open in the equally wide open field, save for some thin dying un-leafy trees.

My first instinct was to throw myself against the white wall, trying to make myself as less visible as possible, which I actually did. I looked again, and they seemed to be oblivious to my presence, but they were approaching nearer. At this moment, instincts told me to do something else..walk towards them.

So I did. I walked towards them, and both of them stared at me for a moment. I gave what I hoped is a casual grin/smile. “What are you doing here?” which was what they asked and exactly what I expected. My mind was racing through various excuses, learnt from the mastermind of crap-talker Shawn.

I didn’t answer them, but asked Miss Then whether Wai Hong had gave her the yearly planner. She said not yet (as expected; ya know, it’s a psychological warfare when you’re up against something unexpected >__>), and she proceeded to talk about the Photography Club, etc etc (Ms Then’s passions, now that I think about it, seemed to be really photography :D).

Eugene then questioned why my hands were all white (thanks to the stupid white wall! bleh), and I panicked a little, and mumbled something about accidentally leaning on the wall…etc. By luck, Miss Then directed us away from the field and we walked past the boy’s toilet, and nearer to the assembly now. After all the Photography-related talk, she then asked me again, “Why were you there?”
