“I’m just a temporary joker.”

Laughter’s the best medicine they say. I went to work feeling sick with flu and cough downing me, and didn’t really feel like making phone calls. Past afternoon, we laughed so fucken much as we had nothing to do and I felt quite well after that.. until I reached home, of course.

Today, I made a total of 10 successful phone calls. Way off the 400 required goal, but since the laptop containing the resume had some troubles and they took ages to try and print the resumes, and when they finally did, there were only a few of them shared between about 10 people.

Funny eh.

The cute Japanese twins we saw at McDonald’s. Really bloody cute kids; one was wearing glasses and the other one didn’t. Pic wasn’t clear because we were trying to stealthily sneak a shot.

The ugly yellow P&G sticker.

So we lepak lah, what else, chit-chatted like nobody’s business in our tiny Anggerik room. Uma, Serene, and Rubini especially had many stories to tell and we lapped them up.

The funniest incident that happened was when Uma started to make a phone call, and couldn’t pronounce a tongue-twisting Chinese name very well (with so many ‘S’s). Kai Tzin started to laugh, passed it on to Rubini, who then spread it to the rest of us until Uma couldn’t stand it and her face was contorted and visibly distorted as she tried to stifle her laughs.

Apparently the unfortunate lady on the other line asked her, “What’s so funny?” and Uma replied that it was her colleagues making a joke, and then hung up on her before she collapsed into laughter.

When she finally maintained her composure, called the poor candidate and apologised for hanging up on her, she answered some questions and both Rubini and I heard her say, “I’m just a temporary joker”, instead of ‘worker’. LOL.

That did it. A series of uncontrollable laughters.

We did next to nothing the entire day apart for the simple task of making phone calls and stapling a bunch of answer sheets. Huhu, bloody cool eh.

Going back was a bit of a bother, we had to stay back till 6.30pm to finish off some paperwork before we finally succeeded boarding a bus at 7pm. One of the buses looked like this:

Ya know, like packed like a damn sardine can. Manyak orang ohh.

Finally reached home at nearly 8pm. =___= A good day’s work though, all in all.
