Media shy

Monday night, I was out with Ding and Alvin at Leo’s studying when Soon Guan dropped by all of a sudden. Had a good time catching up.. at about 12.30am we were out yumcha-ing with Andy (minus Alvin who by then had went home), then about an hour later we went to McD’s to study again wtf, with SG tagging along till about 3am.

Both of us actually stayed till like almost 4am wtf damn kau serious wtf. Thought Ding was joking initially about studying till that late, but we did it wtf. Does that deserve a nerd award or what? (‘course we didn’t study non-stop la, did take a break by chatting wtf.)

Just finished Law100 exam – thought I was gonna run out of time but I followed the ‘tips’ prescribed in our study guide by limiting my time. To quote, “two average essays are better than one good essay and one poor essay”. We had 4 essays to write within 2 hours, go figure.

So getting shortlisted in essay writing competitions can be a bit daunting as well, because one of TheCicak crew members contacted me and I was supposed to prepare a speech wtf for a prize-giving ceremony and speak in front of these people I entirely respect, such as judges Jeff Ooi and Marina Mahathir wtf.

Speaking in front of classmates for a class presentation is already daunting enough, what more speaking in front of hundreds of people I barely know. I know I sound cowardly wtf but (un)fortunately the ceremony clashes with my Japanese class next Saturday, which in an odd way I’m glad wtf. I’ve never been a public speaking type.

And said crew member just contacted me asking for permission to release my phone number cause the media might want to interview me WTF.

I don’t know what to say, except that I think I’m media shy.

My parents are more excited and agitated over the entire thing than I am, heh.
