Midnight Maju

After a frustrating one hour wasting my time at a certain jump quest in Maple, I got really pissed and went down to take a sip of the red wine I drank after dinner earlier. Felt instantly better afterwards, though slightly heady.

Received a phone call from Jon at about 11:40pm asking if I wanted to join him and his dad for mamak at Maju-Maju. I agreed, since I’ve nothing better to do.

Since everyone was quite asleep, I knocked on my parents’ door and entered and called out stupidly, “Anyone awake?” That was the exact time Jon chose to call my phone as it blared out a snippet of music from Final Fantasy VII – The Gold Saucer. I frantically poked at my keypad randomly to shut it off and quickly closed the door. Somehow it felt like sneaking out.

My door was locked by at least two mechanisms and had to slowly unlock each one as silently as possible before heading outside the house where Jon’s dad was waiting with his car. We went behind Maju-Maju, which seemed rather alive and thriving with people watching football.

Ordered teh ais and cheese naan, which turns out to be ten times better than the miserable thing I was served yesterday at USJ 11’s mamak they called a cheese naan. Mr Loh said he saw the worker adding in an entire chunk of smelly cheese, no wonder it tasted (and smelt) so good. I suspect the USJ 11 mamak was merely using a miserable slice of Cheesedale.

Also saw the captain of the England football team, Beckham getting a red card in the England vs Austria match, which will probably make headlines later - it seemed rather unfair as well.

Tired slightly at the time of writing, doubt I can sleep with a stomach so filled up with food. Maybe drinking more wine would help.
