13 Dec 2005 8:01 amI’m afraid of being alone.
Maybe I’ve been looking for something, for someone, somebody to co-exist with permanently. Frankly, the idea of staying in bachelorhood didn’t really frighten me previously, but thinking it over, I’m having second thoughts.
Not that I’ve experienced pure solitude, but I wrote a short story to test those grounds. That, and I’m bored.
Perhaps we need to come in terms with that just like Cloud did, with his ending line in Advent Children, “一人じゃない (_hitori janai_)”.
Because I had no dinner yesterday night when my parents weren’t back from their holiday trip, I contacted various people to go somewhere to eat with me. Andy agreed to it, and it rained heavily when we left.
We went to Asia Cafe and I ate this Pineapple Fried Rice, which, for RM4.50 was really good. Almost anything they have their is good food.
Andy was quite quiet, subdued even, for some reason. Attempts to strike a long-standing conversation failed, until we went to McDonald’s Drive-Thru at SS15 and ordered ice-creams as desserts. I was given a Drive-Thru sticker to paste at the car’s windshield after filling in some form.
After considering all the possible places to go to, we settled for Shawn’s place, where Heng came later. We watched various comedies on StarWorld (it being a Monday night), and then, because we have nothing better to do, we played Monopoly.
It was a little dull as none of us were willing to relinquish bought areas, and we couldn’t exchange cards we possess either because somehow we wanted to follow by the rules strictly. -___-
In the end, only Shawn’s sis managed to buy some hotels, while we got richer and richer and the bank’s funds were depleting till it could’ve reached bankruptcy.
Went to the mamak (Syed Ariff) at late midnight for a bite and drink, and reached home by 2am.
The Repository is now open (limited reads available), and will be the place I’ll be posting things I write.

Your entries still don’t seem to be as fun to read as before.
Maybe because you used ‘their’ instead of ‘there.’
And you’re just not describing things. Just scratching the surface of the detail that could go into each sentence you write.
Yawn.
Go find a girlfriend. =]

My entries do not require satisfaction from every single reader >_> That’s the way I’ve been writing for a while… after all it’s a personal blog.
