Normally, I can sleep rather comfortably or even pull over my comforter with my fan’s speed set to 1. Since last month, I had to turn on my air-con every single bloody day because it’s too bloody hot.
I was supposed to be in school today, on a lovely Saturday mind you, but because of a headache last night and plenty of friends not going, I decided against it.
And I wake up to a beautiful lazy hazy day. HAZE.
Not the regular Indonesian haze, but the haze caused by something closer to our homes… in Malaysia.
Today, when Adrian, Heng Li and I went out to enquire prices on various plants and garden-related materials, we were sweating profusely. That is actually a slight understatement. Our physicals was slightly baked by the engorging heat, our skin pores were getting overworked from secreting too much urea.
We left at almost 4pm and got back at almost 7pm. And we were dehydrated before we settled on Burger King’s infinity drinks. (More pictures on this trip at: http://saigo.lifelogger.com)
So you can imagine us from the Editorial Board, although we photographers and some others were shielded from the sun by huge umbrellas, the heat is killing. And this went on for 5 days this week.
And there’s one more last photographing session next Monday. The last, hopefully.
