Petaling Street |

Futsal in the morning at 11am, played rather badly than usual (shucks), and developed what people call as “blood blister”. Bright red blister on my big left toe.

At 5pm, went to Heng Li’s house and waited for a while for him to finish downloading his manga..while Aldo proceeded to lick my hands repeatedly and jumped around excitedly. There were some family photos and Standard 5 Heng Li (plumpish) looked darned different than Form 5 Heng Li. Just like the nerdy-looking me looked different now. And everyone else for that matter.

Alright, a number 10 bus appeared, so we boarded it for an hour all the way to Kota Raya (although we have no idea where to stop). It’s until a hoard of people began to get down from the bus, and me spotting the giant glittering sign “PETALING STREET” across the road that we stopped the bus. XD Fun :D

So at 6:05pm, we walked around while HL looks around for his pair of futsal shoes. The moment we reached Petaling Street, this man who looked rather menacing approached me, attempted to put his hands around my shoulders, and spoke in incoherent Chinese and I shook my head no. Prolly asking, if I had to guess, if I’m interested in their porno or prostitution.

Then yet another Indian guy approached me and asked, “Ham tai? (porno)” (and no one asked Heng Li. WHY?). And another two approached me (and NOT Heng Li) whether I’m interested in their wares. It’s funny >_>

HL said I looked vulnerable, so that’s prolly true. Later on while I waited for Heng Li while he browsed through some shoes, a guy put a shirt (which he was trying to sell to some lady) behind my back..sort of to measure or something 0_o. I tell you, Petaling Street is full of weird bold people.

Two hours later of walking up and down the breadth of P. Street, he finally bought his Adidas for RM50. There was actually a “Balai Polis Chinatown” right smack in the midst of P. Street, yet VCD and DVD piracy is so darned rampant. Are the police being lax or what? (I’m sure arresting these piraters would affect the country’s tourism) Some policemen/women could be seen patrolling, questioning some stall owners, but although the VCD/DVD stall owners quickly disengage their stuffs, some continued with their pirating business in front of these police. Heh.

Don’t have the time to look for my Do As Infinity CD, so walked a bit to Central Market, asked the guard for directions to the nearest train station, boarded the LRT from the Pasar Seni station to KL Sentral (and we saw the huge, tall, awesome-looking Hilton which we’ll be going this coming Sunday XD)...and yadayada, we’re back to Subang.

Ate dinner at McD Carrefour, and we spotted this 70 sen Mini Bus which we were reluctant to take. We finally took it when no other buses could be seen, and for some unknown chance, Wong (who is in Ireland now)’s mother, bro and sis boarded the same bus. His mum treated me the bus fare, hehe.

So the major annoyance begun. It waited for about 15 goddamn minutes at the Carrefour bus stop, and proceeded merrily (other buses were chokeful of people except for ours) to Pyramid bus stop. And it waited for goodness knows what reason for another 20 minutes. My patience were running out.

And holy moly, finally reached home at 10.30pm. It’s like an hour’s ride to get home, which is the time we took to go to KL. =.=” Damn the 70 sen mini bus.
