The postcard that arrived along with my The Tarot Bible book from Ting on Saturday afternoon.

I thought all the squiggly icons to denote certain words were so cute <3.
I used to believe that you will never meet nor keep in touch with the travellers you meet on the road again, as that was what happened to the few backpackers I’ve travelled with – Kazz, Francis. But Ting – she’s a notable exception. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out about her, and even more grateful when she went out of her way to help me on a personal favour to recover a large part of money belonging to me and my friends which we lost in a Bangkok gem scam, at the expense of her own safety.
Like what was written on her postcard, I really wanted to do Laos & Thai with her and Siew Kiat (written as ‘Low’ in the postcard, as what Siew preferred to call himself when he was backpacking) again, which was initially planned to be at the end of this year – obviously that couldn’t happen anymore with me flying over to Melbourne soon.
I miss Laos so much. Someday, Ting, when I return.. we should fly straight to Laos again together. Tubing in Vang Vieng, even the crazy cycling tour around the outskirts of Vang Vieng where I nearly collapsed due to extreme dehydration and exhaustion brought back fond memories of the four of us.
Two girls, two guys.
Sometimes I wish we’d be crazy enough to buy over a guesthouse there and live together a laidback life of a perpetual carefree spirit. Some day when crazy dreams are compulsory to fulfill.

- demands a string of hearts, several seasoned travellers, and two pairs of sloppy sandals. More »

I’m here to comment about your layout: awesome XD I like the quick tabs stuff at the Recent comments, recent entries etc. Your sidebar is a little bit messy though.

yen: hehe yeah! incredibly thoughtful too. =)
jon: thanks! messy as in too many things? if so yeah.. i do have a lot of things I want to put on my sidebar which is why i prefer a layout with a wide sidebar or maybe even 3 columns.

Feels like the whole sidebar is cramp or something… Or probably too many things lol.
