Powerpacked exam weekend

Noticed I never talk about my Bio papers two days back? It’s strange—I don’t feel the urge, the stress, the tension of exams, and I’m a little bit worried ‘bout the layback ol’ me. I do study and revise here and there, but not as much as my fellow classmates who frightened me with their study regimes and schedules. Like Suet’s: an entire afternoon of Physics, followed by Chem till 1am?

*shudders*

Take yesterday for example. The whole lot of us, me, Heng, Shawn and Andy went with Shawn’s sis to the MTV Powerpack Party, organised by DiGi and MTV (I think) -- at 11pm no less! It was a bit late by the time we get there, and at Mont Kiara’s Equesterial thingy, it was a huge location few hundred metres from sea level, which is why it was rather windy.

There were two locations, both with trance music and whatnot with the DJs grooving, and amazing fancy laser lights which utterly fascinated me. We wandered around, and guess what did we see? Initial D’s cars -- live, real, and.. there!

Wai Hong’s most wanted Trueno was there, and prior to my dissing of that 80s car, I thought it looked pretty old and ugly. But seeing the coveted car in real life, blows me away. Indescribable. It’s like..seeing something you thought you will never ever see in your entire life. But they’re there…those cars. Trueno AE86 -- with those Japanese words on the right… too bad our cameraphones can barely snap anything in the bloody dark, or pictures galore will triumph this post.

There was an inflatable obstacle course, which was pretty fun and set my mood up. We pretty much wandered around the large expanse pointlessly, until Shawn and Heng Li joined the bashing-each-other-with-huge-pillow-like-plastic things while wearing masks. Hilarious.

Went back about 1am, as the “authorities” were there. Bleh. Didn’t spend that long of a time there, but it was a good experience nonetheless.

And today, replacement tuition class for Physics, and right after that, the guys came to my house for an asam laksa lunch ‘cept for Jon who was at church since morning. Nothing much..fooled around on the PC and my room mostly, till Andy left followed by Shawn and Heng.

Guess I should get some Chemistry rubbish dumped inside my head soon.
