Pre-Melbourne meet-ups:

Lunch on Thursday with Rebecca, Khai Shin (both of whom I picked up), Kenneth, and Roy at Sushi Zanmai, Sunway Pyramid.

Sukiyaki – one of my favourite Japanese dishes because dipping the beef into the hotpot of a sweetish sauce and then dunking it into the raw egg is pure orgasm.

Me and Khai Shin.

Roy and Kenneth.

Roy, Kenneth, Rebecca.

---

Thursday night’s supper at PappaRich, Taipan:

Audrey, who was busy doing her Japanese homework as she has an exam the next day.

Jit San (Jess’ ex-roommate) and Jess. Heng is not in the picture.

That night also marked the first time I tested out Fring on my mobile phone – I’m quite pleased as a cat that I’m able to access GTalk via my mobile phone, and Jess excitedly tested out the program on her own handphone too.

---

Friday night at Decanter Too – the whole lot of us were in like 4 different cars: I fetched Ding (took us about 30 minutes to escape from USJ 1’s insane jam, and afterwards even at the NKVE it was jammed all the way too =/), Suet was fetched by Barry, Kai Tzin picked up Jess, Heng, and Jit San, while Ryui Bynn fetched Shawn and Andy. Esther arrived with her own friends as two of them were leaving for Melbourne too.

Suet and Barry arrived the earliest at about 6.45pm, followed by Kai and co, my car (at about 7.30pm), and RB and co.

There are too many pics from that night, so these are a selective few:

Ding, Kai (whose skin looks awfully white here), Heng, me.

Some of us who were there when the rest had yet to arrive. Suet proclaimed that the Grilled Fish was better than the Hainanese Chicken Chop that I ordered (along with Barry).

Suet and Jess.

Another look of our table again.

Ding and Kai.

Pretending to sleep.

Shawn laughing out loud.

Me being forced by Shawn, RB, and a few others to down a glass of beer (lol I could only down about a quarter each time).

Esther who just arrived at about 9.30pm.

Me, Esther, Suet.

Suet, Esther, Jess.

Drinking more beer – after my 2nd glass (downed 2 glasses fairly quickly), I was halfway on the road to inebriation.

Suet in her sexy pose.

Barry and Suet.

Me and Kai.

Suet dividing our bills.

Kai called Tim over and snapped this pic – the funny thing was, I texted Tim in the afternoon to book a place (whilst I was on my way to go to the doc’s after meeting Rebecca and Khai Shin to get my course guides and a textbook for my upcoming subjects in my new semester) and he told me he won’t be there at that time we were going over, and, in verbatim, “hope you guys will stay till late and get drunk lol”.

After this photo, Tim then asked, “Can I get you something?” I told him, “No, it’s okay” and then he replied with “No, I think I’ll get you something” and after a while a server brought:

..a shot of some coffee liqueur. I had to go over to the bar counter and asked if it contained any milk lol (I felt bad asking this when it was given to me for free) – he asked if I was allergic and I told him I have lactose intolerance, to which he said that there isn’t any milk in it, and that I could even use a lighter and.. burn it or something wtf ‘cause apparently it was very strong (I still don’t understand this part). I then returned to my table and drank it in one go.

Esther et moi.

The guys (except Kai who was like the main photographer of the night :D).

Really beautiful vertical shot of Esther and Jess.

Esther and her friends.

Ding then drove me back, and in my state of tipsiness I dozed off after leading him to the Federal Highway, along with Kai. The rest came back to my house for a while, played Wii, drank the Ribena-vodka cocktail, and even Alvin dropped by for a short while.

Jess in deep concentration playing The House of the Dead: Overkill on my Wii with Heng.

Sorry the video was a little too dark.

---
Saturday night (a few hours ago) – Heng’s parents treated me and Shawn to dinner at Thai Thai, Sunway Pyramid!

Exquisite Thai dishes – it’s scrumptious, playful on the tongue, and though its tomyam was excruciatingly spicy, I couldn’t stop myself from finishing every drop of it in my bowl as it was really, really good.

Mrs. Tay who was very thoughtful and generous with her stories, Mr. Tay who was always concerned that we’re not eating enough and wanted to order more for us, Heng, and Shawn.

---

I have an extremely bad sore throat now, some running nose, and what feels like impending fever FML. I can only hope I recover in time before I board my flight in like 22-23 hours.

Haha, how much fun could it be if it wasn’t a total catastrophe? Don’t worry, no remedy trumps a good night’s rest, I’m sure you’ll be fine. =p
