8 Aug 2006 2:39 pmI don’t know how long my blog is down, but suffice to say I wasn’t quite pleased.
---
A classmate of ours today, the Mr. H I mentioned before probably two weeks ago, came back after being absent on Monday - in fact, every Monday, this dude seems to be absent, but the rest of us knowingly laugh his reason for absence.
Normally, if this classmate of ours is someone from our clique, or someone who’s sane and normal, we’d sympathise him, but with Mr. H, looking far from normal, deranged, and quite possibly the epitome of dysfunctionality, we couldn’t help but make fun of his misfortunes - something students of Human Communication probably shouldn’t do, but there are times when we just have our limits.
Mr. H failed his driving license. Every Monday (save for the week when we have exams), he would never fail to be absent.
He failed his driving license again yesterday.
For a record-breaking amount of number, the most I’ve ever heard possible for a Malaysian to fail that many amount of times (what with the pau and all).
5 TIMES.
Mr. H failed 5 times. If two JPJ tests ago he failed his slope (and the previous tests he failed his on-the-road for not pau-ing), guess what he failed this time, after he passed his slope with flying colours with oral coaching (NOT that kinda oral.. ehehe) from our own Bryan (Chong) here.
PARKING OMG.
...
I don’t know whether to pity him, or just gape in marvel at this continuous streak of driving test failure. I mean, I’ve heard of people failing, maybe 3 times maximum, but FIVE is a bit too far.
I believe he’s taking his sixth repeat test next Monday. Just wow. Some of my classmates cruelly kindly predicted that he probably wouldn’t exceed the two-digit mark. Probably.
