Really, the reason I’m doing random silly tags is none other than because I’ve plenty of time at hand, and could probably take my blog out of its usual humdrum. And so, as tagged by Ah Yen...
The Santas who may give me the exact gifts I want:

Gone are the days when Santas are represented as an aged, white-bearded beer-bellied man who also represent an era of lies and molestation of kids who sat on their laps. Santas these days are muscular and hunky (to carry heavy loads of high-tech gifts - PlayStation2s and laptops are considerably heavy), do not wear old-fashioned red attire but groovy netted clothes, with accessories to boot.

The Santarina, supposedly the assistants of Santa (who needs elves and Rudolphs when you have cute, sexy secretaries.. I mean assistants?) could heighten sexual desires of the depraved aged, white-bearded beer-bellied men.
Why have Mr. Hunky Santa or Ms. Cute Santarina when you can have…
*drumroll*

CHIAK SOM BONG!!
Oh yeah, Santas are no longer aged, white-bearded beer-bellied white men (Mr. Santa above doesn’t look white anyway), but with the racial tolerance and cross-cultural events growing worldwide (if you will turn a blind eye on what happened in Australia these days), Santas can be Chinese, Indians, Africans..
Just don’t get a fortune cookie from Chinese Santa as a gift -- people will call him a kiam siap.
What I want for Christmas:
What I really want for Christmas this year is a happy social gathering of friends at Jessica’s where we happily indulge on turkeys and drink martinis and vodka. Nothing better than meeting up with close friends, cite the usual lame jokes and laugh the (mid)night away.
Christmas has been so commercialised you can very well do away with the clich?d “it’s the time for giving and receiving” that kids worldwide wait for Christmas as an excuse to receive their latest Gamecube games or more Barbies.
However, if you purchase a gift for someone, and see the happy, thankful, surprised smiles on their faces -- perhaps that would be worth it? A surprise gift.
Now… for a what I really want for Christmas and I probably won’t get it anyway list:
Who I want to tag this with:
Since most of my fellow bloggers aren’t really blogging much these days.. if you, dear reader, feel like doing this, by all means do so. :)
And this e-mail came through yesterday night:
Dear Clem,Thanks for the materials. I like what you have done so far and would like to welcome you onboard our editorial team. At the moment, we are paying RM 0.15/word for student contributors. Of course, this will go up over a period of time. Hope you are okay with this.
I shall give you an assignment in January for the February issue. But feel free to send in anything you think is good. There are 2 types of articles we are looking for: feature story & column.
The feature will be a 2-page (800 words) on social/health/special interest, etc while the 1-page (up to 500 words) column would be on free-range topics, something like a blog, musings, diary, etc, so long as it is interesting, we will put it into the magazine. Do visit our website at www.thecue.com.my for more info.
Update you then, till then,
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Cheers,
Ken
