Stats | Menon-ism

From the stats of referrals, I can actually see through which website/keywords in search engine used that visitors stumbled onto my humble blog.

The ones that made a huge list were people who typed in “Maple Story” - perhaps if I add a link to Jon and I’s fansite which is still under construction, it’ll garner a lot of visits from visitors :D

Among the curious/bizarre keywords that my visitors searched and found my site were:
- incredibles and asperger syndrome
- stories of girls stuck in quicksand
- maplestory characters people who are giving them away (heh)
- cheat program maple (fuck you hackers/losers ^^)
- what websites you can play the game maplestory
- xfresh station
- u8generation
- suet li xfresh (wtf suet? you didn’t search this, did you?)
- vincci shoes logo
- putra heights
- wow experience points
- guitar teacher in USJ in Malaysia (==o_O==)
- Welcome to my Life Simple Plan

I’m a little unsatisfied with my Add Maths teacher at the class I went; his name is Mr Menon. (this is partly inspired by Lisa’s blog ;D)

Throughout my 4 previous lessons with him (including today’s), he has done all the following:
- said, “Ask me anything and I’ll answer your question” at a 1-minute interval while writing on the board.
- declared, “I am arrogant” to the class during our first lesson.
- repeated during my fourth lesson (fifth for other students, as I did not attend last Wed’s class because of the Kuala Selangor trip), “I may sound a bit arrogant, but this IS already easy” while pointing to the differentiation question which he had solved.
- appear to be intimidating that the entire class is quieter than my current class in school (4A)
- made me look like I had asked a question, “Why is 1+1=2?” when he made the working different than the ones I read in book.
- appear to scare us psychologically by repeating that, “This is nothing man, A-levels and STPM is twice harder than the ones you’re doing.”
- also said, “If you can’t do your Form 4 Add Maths well, you’re gonna suffer in Form 5 - it goes downhill.”
- said, “My class is for those who are interested in Add Maths; if you’re weak in this, you’re better off in Ms Chan’s class” (his wife).
- appear to dislike his own wife by teasing sarcastically Ms Chan’s teaching methods.

I can’t say he’s all that bad, but his style of teaching is definitely not for me. I’m like, a dumb student of Add Maths, and would definitely prefer Ms Chan’s classes - but bleh, who cares. Don’t think I’d be interested in joining this centre next year as it’s far and expensive.
